Think you’re probably right. Has a team ever lost that many games to get to a CL final. Fair play to them though. They got through some very good sides and it was pretty dramatic. Poch got it completely wrong in the final though
The actual performance would not have looked out of place in league 1. Spurs players looked like they were drunk whenever they played that final ball.
weak minded....yep all day
It's what we expect from our perennial bottler club
They got to go to a CL final though, it's pretty sweet going to the CL final even if you lose it.
City and Ajax games, mental scenes, that's what it's about.

True but also there is no worse feeling in football than losing a CL final

We were a good side in 08 though.
I went with a United pal and paid for his flight on my air miles, in a United hotel and flew home via moscow airport allocated to United fans

Nah cause you still get to go to a final. Yeah it sucks, I was in Athens in 07 when we lost having been to every european game that year spending a fortune doing it. It sucked fecking balls losing that game but the games en route were great.
Id rather go to a CL final every year and lose then go out in a quarter or semi, can't fathom why anyone would disagree.
Porto and Monaco in recent history. Porto only made the final because officials gifted them the tie agai st U it’s.
Bunch of butters on here today. Fair play to Liverpool- best team in the night

Hardly think so!
A team at 50% strength, playing Bayern Munich against all the odds, in their own ground - that was one of the best defensive displays I've ever seen!
Also Brum how could it be the worst when it actually defeated the opposition in it's own back yard on the day? The worst team to reach a CL Final is obviously gonna have to be a runner-up, not a winner.

Stop talking sense 69, this is JA606 don't you know!
Incidently Brum what was our possession count in Munich? Can you remember? It must have been lower than the Liverpool alleged 35% yesterday.
Sadly, I didn't see the game last night .We had guests, and no way did they want to watch those two reams.but I'm told it was not anything special anyway !.
I sure enjoyed our game the other night though,(maybe not the first half ) a fascinating display from our lads ,good to see AC finally coming through.
I couldn't tell you how many steins I drank let alone possession stats 69!
Nope!Dope!Rope!Hope!Scope!Pope!
