Pangolins or scaly anteaters are mammals of the order Pholidota (from the Greek word φολῐ́ς, " horny scale". The one extant family, Manidae, has three genera: Manis, which comprises four species living in Asia; Phataginus, which comprises two species living in Africa; and Smutsia, which comprises two species also living in Africa. These species range in size from 30 to 100 cm (12 to 39 in). A number of extinct pangolin species are also known.
To mix the talk of shipping and mythical creatures, the newly Christened 'Sleipnir' is worth a mention. Deriving it's name from the Norse mythical 8-legged horse, renowned for it's speed and power,Sleipnir also has 8 'legs',is (relatively) fast, and very, very powerful. Just about to set on it's sea trials, Sleipnir is an SSCV. Or Semi-Submersible Crane Vessel. It's twin tub mounted cranes can each lift an incredible 10,000 Mt,and in tandem lift mode she will be able to lift 20,000 tonnes in a single lift.
