Anyone see the rumours if Touchel walking out of Bayern? You know what will happen if it happens..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd be worried we'll go for him or Enrique just so we can show Kane their CV's to get him to stay, more or less what we did with Jose.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The fact he was Levy's first choice after Conte left scares me
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He isn't the worst manager that we could get but it feels underwhelming when we know he has moved quickly in and out of clubs that would be seen as bigger than we are. Would he consider us because it's just the best he can get right now to get back on the up? I don't want a manager like that.

Hmnnnn.....why don't Levy go all out for Nagelsmann surely even darth is feeling the pressure now.

Tottenham scouting staff are understood to have handed in recruitment recommendations to Daniel Levy last week but most decisions will pend on the club's next key appointments as sporting director and manager.

Leicester City's James Maddison and Brentford goalkeeper David Raya remain targets while scout Ian Broomfield watched Manchester United against Chelsea last Thursday.

Simon Jones, @MailSport

It's abit messy but surely the manager plays both of them anyway so it doesn't matter?

posted on 29/5/23

be surprised if Raya wanted to come here

maddison still feels likely, depends if he cares more about London and pedigree or CL with Newcastle

With Raya, we should be going for him no matter who the manager is. I’m more sympathetic regarding Maddison

Pickford to Spurs no doubt

It's taken me a while but I'm now full on Levy out. This is a facking shambles, we have no clear strategy, no facking manager whilst Arsenal and the likes have already identified transfer targets and started negotiations.

wish we got to see a bit more of him but probably don't need him with so few games next season

My issue though is why are we making these decisions BEFORE we appoint a new manager or director of football?

What other clubs operate like this????

Yeah he's probably under contract until 30th June Right?

the fact any decisions are being made without a DoF is shambolic

Do we not think there may be non-competes for a lot of the DoFs we will be after?

Which is why we'd only be able to sign them at the end of the season.

If football manager is anything to go by, the contracts end in June sometime

Is it anything to go buy?

Typically yes, FM is actually pretty reliable in general. Its more accurate on a lot of off the field stuff than a lot of websites are due to the RnD put into it
