Spurs submit joint bid for James Maddison and Harvey Barnes.

Tottenham are working to find a final solution and agreement with Juventus to keep Dejan Kulusevski at the club.

Talks are taking place to reduce the €35M asking price/buy option.

The player is keen to stay at Spurs.

Well no, he’s quibbling over the AGREED fee.

We either want the player or we don’t.

The agreed fee was for the obligation if we got champions league this season but we didn’t.

Now we have an option to pay that price or we can renegotiate if we want.

From what I understand, we’re going to agree a few of around €30m for Kulu so a saving of €5m. Whilst tedious for us fans, that €5m could now go to another player so good business.

On other news, Fab has just posted that Sanchez is leaving

We really are laughable in the transfer market, dragging out deals, haggling over fees and playing games of poker.

Some other clubs appear to have way less problems, they identify their primary targets and either pay the asking price or move on, they get their players with little fuss quickly and cleanly.

Spurs on the other hand almost always end up with a long drawn out saga, the last player we signed, Porro dragged on forever.

Exactly Billy, we never learn.

Yeah it’s frustrating as hell but that’s Levy and it will never change until ENIC sell up.

My only issue, is that will this €30m coke off our summer spending? The same thing happened with the Romero deal. It’s all good getting players on loan until we actually have to pay for them and then can only afford to get players on loan again.
