Just watching the highlight vids of VDV, he's massive

Also looks very aggressive in the tackle and on the ball from the few clips I've seen

hes rapid

dont think hes as much of a ball carrier as vertonghen tho

can play left back too suppose is similar, also good for future replacing davies

ideal scenario is him and Tapsoba replace Dier and Sanchez

With it being reported that we've now officially opened talks with Wolfsburg for Van Der Ven, is there a chance we would go for both Tapsoba and VDV, or ist his the classic Paratici approach of beginining talks with various players before getting one over the line?

I ask because of Romero.

Does it mean we're looking for 3 quality CB to battle it out for 2 spaces

Or does it mean we're expecting Romero to pick up suspensions and injuries as per last couple of seasons?

Or does it mean Romero would likely like to leave

hard to care about selling him espcially if get money back but so many more to get rid of first

If we get them all in early then it gives us a better chance to bed in but ideally we keep Romero for stability more than anything.

I heard the other day Gleison Bremer is managed by Base too. No idea what Juve finances are like either.

Selling our only semi-reliable CB this summer doesn't make sense when Sanchez and Dier are around.
