I think we should just accept the Galatasaray bid for Sanchez. It seems very mean sending him to Russia after everything
We also need to judge on these players and the opposition they play against.
Both second half teams played well but they played against weaker players than what the first half team played.

Agreed and our next two matches are against better teams on paper but with only one day rest in between.
In which game does he give the players a full 90 mins in preperation for the Brentford game? Madness to play two games so quickly before the season starts.

Got Stevenage this weekend for u21s. I wonder if we send the first team now
Not so sure. Won't the players be allowed a few extra days off after being away? I would expect them to be back training on Monday. Would be harsh to chuck them in so quickly without any training.
Maybe Forster plays if he is fit too?
Yea maybe as they’ve been doing double sessions this week.
Maybe a in house match early next week

I don't believe in luck

So when Darren Bent hit the beach ball and it went in, what was it?
What if you go to a Casino and put $200 on red and win?
Flukes like the beach ball is a tough one. That kind of stuff is mad. Winning on roulette is straightforward chance. I feel like believing in 'luck' is that there's either some mystical force at work or that you can somehow influence it through lucky socks or something
Does random stuff happen? Yeah of course. Does it mean anything? Naa not for me. Just confirmation bias init. We're all getting lucky and unlucky many times a day right? I guess it's philosophical whether you care or not.
Luck is just a made up thing to easily come to terms with stuff.
I just call it life happening
Pretty sure we’ve had this conversation before though
BTW I enjoy wearing my Lucky Spurs Socks because I'm a contrary caant
Joe Lewis pleaded not guilty to 19 counts of insider trading in a Manhattan courtroom on Wednesday before posting a $300 million bond and being released.
The 86-year-old appeared in federal court along with two of his pilots, who have also been charged in the case. He surrendered to police on Wednesday morning at around 6:30am.
Lewis is expected back in court on September 5.

$300m bond? There goes Kane and the new CB's lads
Luck, random variables etc is all a thing. It is more prevalent in a sport like football which is low scoring - which is why it’s one of the tougher sports to bet on.
I do agree that you can help create your own luck as well
Can’t he stay in jail and give us the £300m
