Richarlison was always just an overpriced squad player. Levy wanted to keep Kane and get him to sign a new contract but alas sold him and left us short with a squad player coming in to fill the gap.

There is probably only a handful of players worldwide that could come in which would not see a drop off in quality from Kane. All of which are probably unattainable or would cost more than we’d ever spend. As long as Ange wanted Johnston, I’m happy. Ok end to crappy situation.

In a perfect world, Kane gave us another season with our MF now sorted.

We have 17 matches between now and Jan when the window reopens.

We play one match a week until 2nd Dec except Mon 23rd Oct home to Fulham and then Fri 27th Oct away to Palace.

Any injuries to Vicario, Romero, VDV and Udogie we are going to struggle. Good luck Ange mate.

Agreed. Sooner Bentancur back the better also.

Been a while since we have had so few games in a first half of a season. We have to utilise it. Not saying by any stretch we are going to win the league. But look at when Chelsea and Leicester did without European games. It definitely has an effect.

In 4 matches so far we have had 7 different goal scorers. Remember when Kane never used to score in August..

Anyway need to trust Ange's system to help us score goals and to cover Kane's output.

The sheer neglect after all the time the window is open to not sell at least one and sign at least two. Magical

Whatever happens between now and Jan I would expect some departures when the window reopens. The rats who get cut from the squad should be the first to go.

We then play Utd away on Jan 13th most probably without Bissouma, Sarr and Son. Again, good luck Ange.

To be fair we are replacing Kane in other ways now. Firstly with the manager and his system for playing attacking football which is cushioning the blow of losing such a prolific striker, and secondly with our midfield with the creativity of Maddison and Bissouma controlling the tempo, which we didn't have last season from him.

Kane as well in this team would have been amazing. Shame we never got to see it.
