This Jack Clarke boy is he being considered for the first team? I see he only had 5 starts and 20 off the bench for Leeds.

From report:

Clarke, who is from York, is expected to join the London side for a fee of around £8.5 million, plus add-ons and is likely to be their first signing since January 2018.

Everyone can see we are not to far from being potential major trophy winners, yet we seem to want to spend all our money on championship nobody’s like Jack Clark and Grealish. I’m sorry, but these players won’t take Tottenham to the next level. Right now, I couldn’t give a flying f** about players with potential. This club needs to bloody win something and fast.

Why? We need a deeper squad and he’ll probably get a fair few appearances considering our Injury record.

Love our fans.

Moan when we don’t get these players before the blow up and end up costing a fortune ala Ndombele

I aimed that comment to people who are already discounting Clarke based on his age and the club he's currently at.

He could turn into a quality player and be in the first XI by Xmas, just like Robertson was

Article re our finances. In a nutshell, we can afford one outright big signing eg Ndombele for £65m. Everything else will be on a sell to buy basis, eg flogging CE and a few others.

Looking at the figures, they aren't too bad at all.

We need to repay £366 (£466 but there is £100m in cash offset) by 2022.

Yet, 4th place in PL got us £140m and CL final got us £90m?

That's £230m coming in?

Another £100m come in through club/shop etc

If we finish in the top 4 for the next 3 years we should get around £400m from the PL for being in top 4?

That should pay for the stadium itself?

I think the board must have just increased their dividends or something?

Surely we got to speculate to accumlate and thus spend money on quality players to keep us in top 4 and push us further in CL...
