so you dont like the 3rd kit?

posted on 20/8/19

he played as a second striker/supported the striker. But can play in a midfield 3 or 2 well, something im not convinced with Eriksen because of his physicality.

---

Yeah he seems a much more versatile player, though we need to wait and see how he adapts and what Poch has him doing. I don't think the change is bad though, as Genuis Greaves said - Eriksen has hardly been a world-beater these past 2 seasons.

On form he should be worth 100m or more.

I agree that you disagree.

no the change is good if he wants out but it leaves a hole in the side. we may have to get used to playing a different way. 433, ndombele and lo celso either side of winks and lucas and son either side of kane.

concern is ndombele and lo celso' fitness.

I don't think we'll see a 433 much as it doesn't have a place for Dele.

I utterly hate being left in limbo or being piisssed about. Part of me just wishes we’d get a solid £60m offer now from RM so he can just get his way and fack off. Yes we would be weaker for it, and all the media, rival fans and doom-mongers will start wumming and writing off our top 4 chances, but at least we’d know where we stood and could continue the rebuild. Rather that than having him string it out a year than fack off for nothing.

Why he’d want to join that shower if sheite with their spoiltcunt fans is beyond me. Fans that have treated Bale like something they’ve stepped in and weee chanting Mbappes name during Hazards unveiling. Small fish in a big pond and a few off games and they’ll be booing him too. But if that’s what he wants then fack him, let him have it - just make sure we get what’s due on him first.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd rather we keep him on and sell for nothing, and remain as strong as possible. Not ideal but if he's willing to play for us then we may as well get a season out of him. I'd just think of it as overspending for a one season loan but even so, we've had him for all these years, and it's not our (the fans' money).

We haven't had this much strength in depth in midfield and in our attacking line up for years.

Get the money and move on.

Only issue for me is he's undervalued, whoever we get for that 60m will not be a proven CL regular.

Nah fack that. We would be in a much stronger position to rebuild if we got £60m for him and I don’t want a player hanging around who doesn’t wanna be here and he couldn’t have been clearer about his intentions in that interview this summer. Sometimes you’ve got to be pragmatic. Get the money and move on.

I don’t see how keeping him anothe rseason drastically improves our chances of silverware as he’s failed to help us win a thing during his six years he. He was gash in the CL final and was part of a team that got totally dominated by City on Saturday. For all his ability I’m not sure he has a ruthless winning mentality. His consistency in the league is what we’ll miss most and losing him will hurt our chances of top 4 for sure though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
His performances will dictate how much he wants to be here this season. We know he's said he wants a new challenge and it's believed he's refused another contract, but he still might put in a good shift this season whether for personal gain or out of professionalism. The performance against Villa showed he can make an effort at least. And if he is putting in good performances then it will make us stronger, with the other new additions that have joined.

What do you think Poch would prefer out of the two options we've discussed?

That’s what happens when a guy runs down his contract. It’s sheite or bust time for Levy. Madrid can come in 24 hours before their window closes and say “here’s £50m, take it or leave it”. The player will want to go, and they’ll know that if we don’t take it we’ll end up with nothing. Poch is 100% right that the PL clubs have facked themselves up the arrsehole with the changes to the window and need to sort it immediately. All UEFA club windows should close at the same time, this situation is bollox and totally destabilises our start to the season. There always seems to be something with us, some facking hindrance or load of sheite we have to deal with, we can’t just start the season with no problems and focus on the football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree all windows should shut at the same time, but I'm somewhat grateful ours shut when it did. We still wouldn't have signed Sessegnon or Lo Celso by now if Levy had the luxury of the transfer window being open.

Villa massively fatigued in that game. He came on and played his natural game. He’s a top class player, of course they couldn’t handle it. He was garbage against City, garbage in the CL final and last season was his poorest in a Spurs shirt since his first season. Not that he was bad, and his stats remained decent, but by his standards he was avaerage. That suggests his performances are already dictating how much he wants to be here. We no longer have the time to say “his performances will dictate how much he wants to be here this season”. Either we sell him by 2/9/19 or we don’t. It is now painfully obvious, regardless of whether he plays well or poorly, that he wants out of THFC and on that basis we should just get rid while we can make some money on him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Last season was offset by the pre-season we had and the World Cup fatigue, in my opinion, partly anyway. I mean you could argue the same about Dele if you want to talk about drops in performance over the last year, but Dele as far as I know wants to be here.

Nah, let us see what we can do with him in the team. I would regret not having that bit more strength in our squad if we come close to winning something and failing than regretting missing out on £50m with the same outcome.

I reckon Poch would prefer to hold on to him for a season as well if he can.

Guy, just catching up after landing in Egypt yesterday afternoon.

Some great loans announced and see roles & Georgiou already a hit with the fans.

Now to fack of N’Koudou and the squad should be ready.

Eriksen situation is a bloody nightmare but either way he’s either gone in a week Or next summer on a free but hopefully he’ll help get us to CL and maybe a trophy too this season.

Hopefully we are now scouting for another decent attacking or creative player ready to step in to his boots or add to the squad next summer (not you Fernandes step away )

Not yet, spent all day drinking next to the pool, proper little englander.

Tomorrow we’ll take a walk around and see what’s what.

Booked a lovely trip to a little island called orange bay. Full day out boating, seeing turtles & dolphins then to the island for a couple hours to chill out.

Will post some pics up. Sorry no naked ones phenom
