Yeah but he won’t come cheap - £27m being bandied about? Can Arsenal afford to risk that on him. I do like him though. Apparently they also want Zaha but Palace playing hardball again, rightly so.

Celtic are holding out for £25m but apparently there's a clause in his contract that says we can get him for £22.5m. I guess we'll see how it plays out.

I think he's a class player, but we would be spending a significant chunk of our alleged transfer budget on one player, when we need upgrades in CB, CM and RW/LW too.

Either the £45m transfer budget we have is BS or we seriously see Tierney as part of our future and will invest in him as a long-term project.

I imagine like us you’ll have a set amount for buying with - ie the £45m, but that will be able to be topped up with revenue from player sales. Think the problem there for Arsenal is there aren’t really many players you could offload to massively boost your kitty. Auba and Laca aside, but selling them would be crazy as you wouldn’t be able to replace them with better.

We supposedly have a bit more than £45m to spend, plus we have the likes of Eriksen who will bring in a fair amount (enough to buy Lo Celso for example). Looking like we might make a nice few quid on Trippier too, weirdly.

Reiss-Nelson could command a big fee due to his age, performances in Germany and England U21s, as well as his potential.

AC Milan also want to sign Torreira for €40m. He's apparently interested in moving back to Italy, but he's not 'unhappy' at Arsenal so won't force the move.

But yeah, apart from that, will be difficult to get huge amounts of cash for the others bar Lacazette and Aubameyang.
