Yeah I agree. Though if we're really chasing CBs maybe there's something we don't know. Foyth and Jan are definitely off. Tanzania will be out of contract, Jose has picked Dier ahead of Toby consistently..

I think Dier being picked ahead of Toby is purely due to who was fittest at the restart. I really don’t think you can read too much into it.

Is Tanzania out of contract?

Sturridge is infinitely better than Long, it's all about whether you can get some games out of him before injury.

Better than the alternative of what we'll be doing in that position, which is nothing.

I would have Wilson. Be more expensive though of course.

Sturridge was infinitely better than Shane Long 5 years ago. He's not made any meaningful appearances in top flight football for going on 3 years.

He probably still is better. This is Shane Long we're talking about.

I don't know what his injury record has been of late but if the old Sturridge is still in there somewhere I'd take a punt.

I like the idea of Callum Wilson. Though I can't see Bournemouth letting him go for a reasonable amount unless they go down. Neither should they to be fair.
