I know, but I'm not sure if you'll be able to recoup all the money you spent on him if you're keen to get rid.
That said, if you were offered both Brozovic and Skriniar, that'd be good business IMO.

Wow we're really gonna give up on him after one year huh
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He'd go down as arguably the biggest flop the PL has ever seen if we did get rid of him now. I hope we do give him time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Never a risk whilst kepa exists
----------------------------------------------------------------------
At least Chelsea would have got more out of him than we got out of Ndombele. Some may say that is a bad thing but they did get top 4 with him.

I'm sure this has already been discussed, but I'm surprised to see that Romano has reported that Ndombele could be going to Inter Milan. Always thought you'd give him another season to prove his worth.
However, he also said it could involve swap deals with other players - if you were given Brozovic or Skriniar in return, would you guys be happy with that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd be happy with skriniar if it was a situation like Eriksen where the player is begging to leave and we just had to get whatever we could
Choosing to do this though is baffling and unnecessary
Even just from the perspective that levy is gonna let jose dictate our transfer policy to such an extent and look at things in such short term ways
Very concerning
No point selling him at a loss.
Inter don't have a creative midfielder like Ndombele worth getting back, so we'd have to replace him anyway
Basically giving tanguy away to either get brozovic (when we already have hojbjerg coming) or skriniar (who is good but we look decent at CB already so unnecessary) and then we also have to replace him

Brozovic and Skriniar are definitely worth more than the £55m you spent on Ndombele (combined obviously). They're both key players to Inter's first team.
If you got a deal like that, that could be beneficial for you.
My only question would be whether a player like Brozovic is the style of player that you need/want for your midfield.

Really?
Vertonghen has left. Alderweireld is class, but is ageing. Foyth hasn't really looked comfortable at CB whenever I've watched him there. D. Sanchez doesn't really seem to have developed as many of you hoped (from what I've read). So I think Skriniar be a great addition for you.
Neither players are inspiring.
He'd improve us but it's not gonna be a game changer for us like a fit Tanguy would be
Toby and Dier is a good partnership, Sanchez is good cover and Foyth (despite his flaws) and Tanganga are good prospects. It's a long way from being an area of strength for us but it's steady and the way we play makes it as easy for them as possible.
If Tanguy does end up leaving, and Fabrizio is usually very reliable so I think it's likely, who would you want to see to replace him?
I’d want our £55m back in cash and no inter rejects.
Talk of Perisic too
Got Jose written all over this
Take it you're not Jose's biggest fan then, MK? I thought he was gradually beginning to win some of you over with your post-lockdown form.

Nope but apparently unlike new players we have to give Jose time to succeed.

Either a more dribbly box to box ball progressor like bissouma or a playmaker like Buendia, depending on if lo celso will play in the pivot or as a 10.
Tbf fabrizio have only said inter are interested and we will explore options, that's what I'm clinging on to anyway
Willing to take a loss on the fee and considering a 31 year old perisic fml
Letting jose dictate our transfer policy like this is shocking, thought levy was too smart to buy into this short termism

Especially when you compare it against his approach with Pochettino.
Shocking if true, absolutely abysmal
Fabrizio Romano: Spurs have indicated that they would accept €50m (£45m) for Ndombele - although Inter are not believed to be willing to go that high.
Ake went for 41m when he had a year left on his contract and Bournemouth had just been relegated ffs
A £10m loss on absolute dud is just about bearable. Spend it on Holberg, Kim and some funds towards someone like Eze and it doesn't looks so bad. No biggie for me.
Our midfield
Højbjerg, Winks, sissoko, Lo Celso & Gedson

I know Ndombele has disappointed, but seriously... surely people can see his potential if he's used properly. What an utter travesty of transfer policy this would be - why would Levy be so quick to bow to Mourinho's demands when he refused to back Pochettino properly for so long?
Maybe Pochettino was actually the problem all along?!
