Watkins? 25 league goals last year.

I like Buendia too and think he’d be a good upgrade on someone like Lamela. However I really disagree with some of you guys and just don’t think creativity is an issue

it more i want to see creativity and us actually use the midfield, although if youre coming from the angle that Jose style bypasses any use of the midfield creatively then yes it could be a bit of a waste of time.

I don’t know much about him but he looks tidy albeit not really a top 6 level quality. He seems similar to Bernard at Everton.

considering we are apparently looking at a winger and CB, i would hope the latter is a left sides CB for the future and the former a more creative option, more of CAM who can play wide in a 433 or 4231

I think in terms of creativity we have:

Son/Bergwijn/Moura/Sess/Aurier/Doherty all capable crossers
Dele/Lamela/Lo Celso eye for killer pass
Ndombele/Winks creativity in the middle of the park
Toby/Dier/Foyth/Davies creative from deep
Kane link up play

It’s nothing special but we aren’t going to be like City and need competent creative players in 9 out of the 11 positions. We need it in like 2 or 3 under Jose.

Aurier a capable crosser, hits the frontman 9/10

That’s not really true though - his crossing can frustrate but his crossing from deep is very good. Hence why he had so many assists.

So that's Wilson and Watkins out of the question. Our options are looking remote.
