Rumours picking up for eriksen to Madrid
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Prob best all round if he goes. Doubt he’ll sign a new deal which means we’ll lose out massively in the long run. Shame as I’ve really loved having him as a Spurs player.
Prob means Lo Celso is a certainty. If we can get him, Ndombele, Sessegnon and Aaron’s in and keep Toby I’d be chuffed even with the loss of Eriksen. Would keep Clarke around too rather than loan him back.
Alternatively if we are gonna have a wedge burning a hole in our pocket after selling CE would Zaha be a better option? £80m. Apparently Arsenal are too skint to buy him, but he wants out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can you imagine us spending the £60+ million on Ndombele and then spending another £80m on Zaha? Levy would start self harming if he let go of that amount of money in a window.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lo Celso will cost similar to zaha and Ndombele can’t be Eriksens replacement.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would he? So our initial bid was about £25m short?

Eriksen sold to Madrid for a decent fee and getting rid of deadwood.
Clarke, ndombele, lo celso, a RB and forward would be a very good window.
How we're shaping up at the minute

Suppose I could have included Janssen and Nkoudou too
Wanyama, lamela, aurier and trippier need to fack off. Waste of space and could get decent fees for all 4, prob not aurier now hes injured
Without eriksen, Chris, that's a better starting XI imo. Need some pace at RB though
Even without*
Better starting XI than last season*

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The way I see it the £63m from Ndombele is all gravy, extra revenue from last season that Levy should quite rightly be handing to Poch to make a marquee signing. Other signings will then be generated by player sales; hopefully Aarons, Clarke and Sess, with Trippier and one or two others going the other way. A bigger signing like Lo Celso or even Zaha would be generated by selling Eriksen. Realistically we need a net spend of about £80m this summer to properly rebuild - that’s the cost of not investing in the squad for 18 months.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On paper we should be doing that, it's just hard to imagine for Spurs and Levy. But if we did I'd be very pleased with that business, especially if we nabbed Zaha.
We could get like 80m for
Trippier
Wanyama
Lamela
Nkoudou
Janssen
Right?

Not sure about that Cm line up. Think Lo Celso either plays in a 3 or further forward.
Winks at the pivot for me in a midfield 3

Yea pretty much ace.
Although I’m not ready to lose Sissoko from our starting line up yet either.
Basically ain’t got a clue what I want
Dele will start, no doubt.
We have the luxury of some options with sissoko as well, didnt have that last season. Ndombele is basically a technical sissoko, hopefully he'll improve out counter attacks

Trippier > £25m
Wanyama > £10m
Lamela > £15m
Nkoudou > £5m
Janssen > £5m
Right?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Although I think Lamela might fetch a bit more

£60m at most but all players that need shifting imo. Add another £65m to that for Eriksen and that’s Ndombele and Lo Celso paid for with zero net expenditure. Arrons, Sessegnon and Clarke for £70m combined out of our cash reserves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think you could add £5m on to Wanyama, Lamela and Janssen. And I mean each by the way.
