Was proper excited for these transfers then last night happened - a reminder that whatever player we sign, it won't make a difference whilst Jose is manager.
This team:
Lloris
Doherty - Toby - Sanchez - Reguilon
Ndombele - Holjberg - Lo Celso
Bale - Kane - Son
has the potential to be quality (iffy at centre back, I'm really not sure about Holjberg) but a really great watch anyway. But we're not going to get the chance to see it.

Same here. It's like we could be on a ladder to the promised land and these signings could take us up the last few rungs, only to know we get to the top and we're on the wrong ladder, and we'll never be on the right one while Mourinho is here.

The positive will be that the next manager might be excited to work with our players.
I think if we lost last night Mourinho would have been on thin ice.
Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon have left Madrid and they’re both flying to London! The deal with Tottenham has been completed. Paperworks also signed. One year loan Bale, permanent deal Reguilon. Medicals already done in Madrid. Announcement soon. Here we go confirmed.

time to bring in that striker and a commanding CB...oh and a set piece coach.
offensively set piece wise as well what the actual fack is Kane still doing taking free kicks. Another good thing about Bale signing.
And an attacking coach.
And a motivation coach.
well Jose wants to defend but we cant defend so what is that all about.

This winds me up. He must be the worst free kick taker in the league. Can he not take a hint from the last 50 free kicks taken hitting the wall?

German football team who socially distanced from their opponents lose 37-0
Maybe that’s what Spurs players have been doing?!
Can a player say no to a buy back if he doesn’t want to go?
Reguilon signs on a permanent deal. Buy back clause confirmed in the agreement with Tottenham. New detail: Real can bring him back for €45m! 🚨
I'm sure he could, can't force him to sign a contract - what if they offer him £1 pw.

he'd still earn more than me
And you're still overpaid for what you offer.
we'd have £40million quid to sign a quality LB if he goes back there then.

Yes pls
Ruben Dias is among Mourinho’s preferred options at centre back, with COVID-19 and a failure to qualify for the Champions League forcing Benfica into rethinking their refusal stance from January
