343 son. Incorporates wingers, our winger always cut in anyway.

No idea but Gabriel being left footed would’ve fit us better
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not sure it's so important in Mourinho's system. He's not so strict about the CBs playing out from the back.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yea it’s okay for Jose but when you’re spending huge amounts you have to look at the now and the future.
A good lefty is worth their weight in gold for balance of the team.
problem with 343 is the CMs. Doesn't incorporate ndombele at all, it will continue to be a 4231 or 433 I think, although it leaves us very open with the full backs and no dm (Hojbjerg doesn't seem to be playing there, Jose obsessed with the double pivot which doesn't work)

I’m talking more general now.
Yeah I think the lefty thing is overstated unless your hardcore set on playing out from the back. Even then you can cope with two righties
Left footed CBs are rare so are gold in general but far from a necessity for a good team, two of the best CBs in the world are right footed LCBs for example. We were just spoilt with Vertonghen for so long

I think it's a more fundamental thing with organising the defence. Unless we stick with a defensive shape it'll always be a bit sloppy
We can always hope Jose doesn't actually love Dier that much but just sees Toby and Sanchez as rubbish as LCB so if we get someone comfortable there then Dier is out of the team
Reddit is crazy for Davies at LCB. Not a fan myself

Nope want him gone by next summer.
Skriniar is naturally right footed but his left foot is pretty good as well

Zouma and Jonny Evans mate

Interested to see what sort of fee he can fetch. You'd think the English/youth premiums would still push it north of £50m even though he's been crap for 2 years. Such a shame he's not developed into the £100m talent we all assumed he would.
Still think a loan would suit Spurs - give him one last chance to recover his form in a new environment and hopefully bring it back to Spurs in a year's time.
What if we don't get Skriniar?
