So...he any good?

£11m is disgraceful, worth double, possibly triple that. F the owners, f Winter, f Daniel Levy and f anyone who played any part in this awful deal.

However... Want to wish Rodon a massive goodluck, deserves to play at the top level and now has the chance to show it!

Yes, on a last minute deal that

Best centre half in the championship, easily as good as any of your other centre half's at his best. Incredible in the air, and can pick a pass as well. Bargain of the window

He is decent. He's had games at International level so has some guile and understanding of quality he'll face in the premier league.

Rodon's 22 and already a regular at CB for Wales, and is widely recognised as one of the best in the Championship. He's not a 'Doherty' signing. He's not on Vert's level yet, but he wasn't world class at 22 either.

I get what you're saying - we need a first team upgrade - but with the international window closed this was the best we could do. If he steps up, brilliant. If he turns out a bit average we've upgraded on Foyth with a homegrown player anyway, and we go again in Jan.
