i agree, but he just wasnt what we needed. He'll end up being a good player somewhere, only 21.

Such a weird signing. Literally just seems to be used as a body to throw in wherever there's a gap. He's a CM, but... "We need a RB. Chuck Gedson in. What's that? We need a LW? Sure, Gedson will do it"

we needed a genuine midfielder like a Hojbjerg as Sissoko was injured (how tragic was it that that was actually a big deal) but no we werent for a sort of unknown young player with potential who doesnt know his role yet

ive only just noticed that Everton have a player called Niels Nkounkou, why the hell didnt we sign him?

it was sort of lucky though because there were a few months where we were so depleted that we literally juts needed a new body to throw in at a different position each week!

Is jose sure he can't convert him in to a world class DM to rotate with PEH?!

I'm gonna make a controversial statement here.

I've just re-watched Sonny's goal vs Burnley and Maradona's vs England.

I know one was in the WC quarters and the other was at 3-0 up at home to burnley so they're hard to compare, but putting the magnitude of the competition aside, I actually think Son's was better?!

Just looking at our summer signings again and wow!

Has to be up there with the best transfer windows of the PL era.

Rumours about Demarai Gray coming on a free. I'd be up for that. He's been wasted at Leicester.

How old is he? He was promising once

He's 24. I like the fact he doesn't rely on pace.

Gray would be a meh signing

Totally a Levy deal init. Worst case we sell him to West Ham for 20m when he's 27/28. Plus we need more homegrown squad players.
