My nagging worry is we’re all getting excited about Ndombele & Clarke, which is great. But one is being loaned back out. The other is one man, albeit a statement signing in a key area. But it’s still just one useable signing when we’re in a situation where the loss of Eriksen and possibly Toby feels inevitable. And that’s before you consider the RB situation. I have this worrying feeling that Ndombele will feel like a big deal, but then there’ll be an after the Lord Mayors show situation where we actually find ourselves worse off at the start of the season. I worry about our ability to get the players Poch wants, given the length of time it’s taking us to get TNd over the line, and the prices being touted for the likes of Lo Celso and Zaha. Hope I’m wrong.

Levy simply can't afford to do that crap anymore. The new stadium is out the way so it's no longer an excuse. We have a manager now who needs his backing and will be less patient this time around. If we don't have a satisfactory window where we really try to strengthen the squad, it wouldn't take much for Poch to want to leave when the next club comes calling....most probably United.

Well, the stadium isn’t exactly out of the way. We’re still liable for a £600m debt.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And we still have stuff to finish off on it too.

Yes but it's not the big distraction it was now that we've moved in there.

Levy should know we need a good window now.

Hopefully that's not going to be us in 15 years time, not being able to spend a lot and putting in much lower bids for players we know are worth more.

Problem is, levy is happy with just sustaining top 4 and feels the squad is good enough for that already so no need to spend.

Poch overly trusts the squad and as we know likes to bring through young players where in this game now it is so difficult to compete doing.

Ndombele will be our only big signing.

Absolutely agree Ace, cannot see the point of getting in say Ndombele (if it ever happens) and letting Eriksen and Toby go, that would represent no strengthening of the squad at all. It is worrying that no new full backs are being talked of, no back up striker to Harry. Need seriously strengthening, no just one player coming in.

You better announce NDombele today Levy you tight fist. ed be bas***.

Totally agree by the way, if we are getting this NDombele, I don’t want us selling Eriksen to compensate for it. Will completely defeat the object of strengthening. If Eriksen goes, then a major player in his position must be signed, aswell as NDombele.

There is no way if Eriksen goes we won’t replace with a attacking player it’s just they won’t be on Eriksens level and will probably cost as much.

24 goals & 29 assists in the last 2 seasons as well as creating the most chances in the league over the two seasons is very gash

We R, you really are not a fan of Eriksen are you I can understand your point, he is a very frustrating player at times and stats can be a bit misleading at times, but he has been a success for us. If he does go, aslong as we get a direct expensive replacement ( no bulls* youth player with potential ) then I’m not to fussed if Eriksen goes, he’s certainly replaceable.

His performances has only been bad in the last few months of the season and that explains the dip towards the end and highlights how important Eriksen is to the team. We will definitely need a high quality replacement if he goes or even a backup if he stays.

used to love him mate , but last season he just went through the paces and hes no where near good enough for madrid.. i see him going to UTD

Big mistake selling him to united. I don't mind selling our players even our best ones but selling them to rivals really makes me mad.
