Lucas has been our best attacker though. I don’t know anything about kulu particularly - however what I’ve seen of Bentacur has been good
He could stop Kane dropping deep so often which is a big plus

That's been systematic though and more down to others being poor
2 best team performances he either didn't start or was one of our weaker players
Not against lucas though, it's just having different options and being able to rest Son more when he's struggling (probably still won't happen though)

I don’t really think it’s been systematic - however it has been down to Conte. I think it’s a coaching aspect. In the 523 - son misses out for me.
532 is almost definitely Son or Bergwijn
Anyone satisfied with the current 2 ins and no outs (as it stands) ?
Dejan Kulusevski on an 18-month loan worth €10m (£8.3m) with a further obligation to buy depending on Champions League qualification presumably on 1 June 2023 for €25m (£20.7m)
+
Rodrigo Bentancur for €19m (£15.7m) + €6m (£4.98m)

I think they are decent signings which strengthen the squad (probably not XI really) however they don’t address the bigger issues we have

the 2 ins are fine. no outs is annoying as it just stores up problems which we have to deal with in summer. need to clear as much of the decks as possible now so that summer is only about ins.
I don’t think it’s definite the ‘no outs’ anyway

What are bigger issues? Cb amd Rwb?
Depth at CB is pretty horrendous, only wo many you can get in in Jan though
At least these two new signings are good ages. Although it doesn’t look good for Paratici that he can only deal with his old club for new players
Bentacur has always looked decent whenever I’ve watched him. Never seen the other guy play before

Yup
Hard to see Bentancur not being a better option than one of Hojbjerg or Skipp, but then I thought that about Ndombele and Lo Celso too. Then again Conte knows and chose the player (presumably) so you'd have to hope he'll suit the system.
I think between him and Kulusevski you'd like to think the team will be better able to create more chances compared to the side with Hojbjerg and Lucas in it. Course Hojbjerg and Lucas still have plenty to offer and they shouldn't just be cast aside.
What happened to selling Tanganga for £25m?

Not a great deal for Kulusevski considering he's pretty much been a flop for them. But I guess if we get CL and he plays a decent part in it, it's fair enough.

I thought it was a cracking deal tbh.
Depends if the loan amount is a fee or if they're talking about his wages. €35m is near enough what he cost Juve isn't it? If we sold Lo Celso or Ndombele for what we paid we'd be over the moon.
It’s a fee I think.
Depends what way you spin it I suppose. A £8.3m try before you buy deal that only becomes a obligation if we are in the champions league which I suppose means he’s probably played well to help us.
Forgot to say and not seen it mentioned anyway but conte at inter was trying to buy him the summer he went to Juventus.
