It has to be Mourinho or Simeone or another manager like that. Someone who suits the club and the type of football that has always brought us success. I don't understand why some fans have this vision of us playing beautiful football, that's not us. We shouldn't follow someone else's map or try and be like another club, like Barcelona. We are Chelsea, we have our identity, why change it? It's been so successful for us.

Wahl why is it our identity? It’s only our identity if we truly began existing in 2000. The first time since 1996 that we hired from outside the club
But there are those of us that have allowed ourselves to be fooled in to believing that Chelsea did exist before the millennium. I know we’re really only living in the Matrix and nothing we’ve been told is true, but we’ve decided that ignorance is bliss
So somebody like me, I don’t consider your version of “our identity” to be set in stone.

Thing is i (like i suspect you can) remember a time when we didn't go for the "finished article" when it came to Managers. Even Hoddle was 35/36 when we hired him.
So i don't buy Wahl's version of our identity as being set in stone and we should stick to it rigidly.
