Ignore me i missed the whole point of this article

Hate time wasting. New rules regarding leaving pitch at nearest point from next season will help, until they come up with sneaky ways around it.
Also introduce rule penalising taking ball into the corners, Should result in free kick for defending team. Seen this happen as early as the 83rd minute last season. No one wants to watch that in a spectator sport ( apart from team benefiting )

VAR is good?

Offside now take long time before we know if a player is off or not...As a player, I wanted to know immediately whether the attacking player is offside or not.

Delaying it like this means that the player could get injured by defender tackle when it is absolutely unnecessary as it will be offside when the VAR checks it?

Annoying!

Good thread. At the risk of being attacked by my fellow Spurs fans:

As well as we have done over the past 4-5 years, we are at risk of finding ourselves in a similar mess to the one Arsenal are currently in if we don't seriously look to improve this summer.

In the last two consecutive seasons, we have gained less points, scored less goals, conceded more goals and finished one place lower than the previous season. If this trend continues, we can look forward to Europa League football in 2020/21.

Obviously this season's brilliant CL campaign has masked this, and effected it too, in the sense that the CL games were 'prioritised' in a fashion.

I am one of Poch's, Levy's, and our general club's biggest defenders, as in I recognise how well we have done when compared to who we are competing against in the league, how ridiculous the 'you haven't won anything' argument is against us (yeah, I really wish we'd won the Carabao Cup last season instead of getting to the CL final), and how well we're doing to even be in this position. Finishing above Arsenal three times in a row, and Man United three seasons out of four, would have been unthinkable in the Tim Sherwood era.

But this summer is crucial. If we get it anywhere near right, we are looking at Liverpool level improvement, which we should be aiming for. Get it wrong, and it's bye bye Poch, all our best players, and Champions League. We have a lot more to lose by missing out on Champions League football than other teams who can spend their way back into it.

The clock should be stopped for throw-ins and breaks in play.

I hate VAR and the handball rule.

That isn't much of an unpopular opinion anymore.

One for fellow Liverpool fans. That was not a pen against Spurs. Pure accidental.
