Isn't he at the U21 Euros?

#mufc feel the Aaron Wan-Bissaka deal is all but done. One more meeting will be scheduled in London but wages and fee have been agreed. The fee is £47m rising to £55m in add ons #mulive [andy mitten]

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will earn £80,000 a week at #mufc. Darmian will be sold to offset some of the cost #mulive [andy mitten]

Sounds fair.

£55m seems a lot, but I'm at the point that I don't care what a player costs if they are the right fit.

Darmian is reportedly on about £60k, so shifting him would come close to paying AWB’s wages if any of this is accurate...

I imagine the loss of Valencia's wages cover AWBs wages.

Still need to shift Darmian. Can't believe people were begging for us to sign him for 18 months before his arrival, he's awful.

.....................

I don't remember anyone begging to sign him. I remember him once looking good against England, and I remember him looking good early on when we signed him.

Ironically it was Sanchez who turned him into a nervous wreck.

I still think Darmian could have been a solid full back for us if given a run. I think he'd have been better than Young at least. I've also always though he'd be good as a CB in a back three.

I wish him well when he goes as he's been a model pro during his time at the club.

Darmian is decent defensively, but woeful going forward. It is for the good of his career that he is sold as he is nowhere near a starting place.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the Premier League last season:

Most clearances (129)
Most tacklers won (129)
Highest tackle success rate (94%)
Most take-ons completed (90)
Most interceptions (84)

£50m odd on a player who has the very real possibility of being out first choice RB for the next decade is very good business.

Hopefully we get in a few more signings too.

It's a bit vague but AWB is a good dribbler of the ball and can go past people. He's got much, much better skill and footwork than say, Luke Shaw, so if he can add productivity in attack to those attributes he could be one hell of a player.

AWB to United is done after 2 initial failed bids. Palace said they value the player at 42m after united offered35m. Woodward then agreed to meet at 55m. Deal will be completed after the U21's Euros.
