Athletico Mince with Bob Mortimer is silly but a good laugh and worth a try.

I know it’s the obvious pick but you simply can’t beat Joe Rogan at the minute.
His guests are almost always interesting and as a host, he allows them to talk. He also knows his limitations on certain subjects and is happy to admit ignorance when relevant.
I recommend the Brian Cox episode and also the Alex Jones one too. You’ll be surprised just how many of the Alex Jones supposed BS is objectively true.
Oh and check out Retro’s Ramble. Just two guys talking about their favourite shows and movies growing up. A la Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Bloodsport etc.
80s guys will love it
I refuse to believe that anything with Alistair Campbell involved is decent. The guy’s a t0sser.
If by some miracle another baseball fan exists on here then Intentional Talk is brilliant.

Thanks for the recommendations. I listened to the Tyson Fury podcast on Joe Rogan which was good so I will have a look at more of those. I will reserve judgment on the Alex Jones one!
Campbell is certainly a divisive figure but I like him.

WTF
The TED Talk daily podcasts are also worth a try, though they can be a bit hit and miss - either very interesting, or quite annoying, largely dependent on the lecturer's voice.
Only listen to one, it's not football related:

Yeah heard good things about this too (from Adam Buxton's interview with Bob).
Not football related but No Such Thing As A Fish is great, it's 4 if the QI elves discussing random facts and making jokes. My dad wrote a po® no can be funny as well.
If you watched the Chernobyl series there is a good accompanying podcast as well
After all the hype, I relented and tried the My dad wrote a po® no podcast. I found they all sounded very pleased with themselves, and gave up after ep 2.
Anyone listen to the Angelos and Barry podcast?
Childish filth but rather funny
Joe Rogan Experience.
Has a huge variety in his guests and themes, and propel really open up to him.

Yeah I know what you mean, especially the male friend of the narrator. Think I've only managed 3 or 4 episodes, just sticking with it in the hope it gets better
If you’re getting into Serial or like things similar (and darker) I’d recommend
Tenderfoot TV: Monster series & Zodiac series
The Lady Vanishes (this one is still on going)
Who the hell is Hamish?
The Hurricane Tapes
Root of Evil
Man in the Window
Up and Vanished
Shreds
Footy wise there’s
Gary Neville Podcast
Football Daily
The Guardian football podcast
Sky Sports Debate
Blindboy is brilliant, well worth a listen.
Guardians Football Weekly
The Football Ramble
If you like true crime stuff Casefile is good,

I used to enjoy the Guardian podcast but I find the present cast uninspired lately.
I will be honest during the title race last season I started listening to a few liverpool podcasts just for the delusion entertainment. I actually found it entertaining. The nerves, the angst, the bravado from a few of their deluded fan base but among the rubble I actually found one liverpool podcaster, Neil Atkinson of the Anfield Wrap who knows his football, is balanced and I could listen to him any day.
