Apparently Arsenal are to test Celtic's resolve with an improved bid. ☹
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It seems to me that a lot of these clubs down south are ignorant to how much financial security we currently have, i've seen a lot of English based articles reporting that we wont be able to turn down certain bids, tell that to Boyata and Ntcham, 2 players nowhere near as important or on as long a contract and we have knocked back big money for them in the last year.
The improved bid of about 18m will be dismissed too, they need to get real, KT will be valued at upwards of £50m after 12-18 months in England, so if the board and Kieran feel the time is right to move on they better make sure we are smashing the transfer record in the process.

Perhaps. But without the move he's never getting near that value. 20-25m id expect gets it done.

England and their Nat Zi gold will still be there in 2022.

I used to work in a place with fanatical Kaffliks and Proddys. Someone had spelt two brothers surnames with an 'a' instead of am 'e' they were ragin' and told the guy to change it, as that was the Kafflik spelling he had written.

Should have said, this was on a list for five a sides after work...

Was thinking this earlier Sjb but couldn't remember what the bid was for Boyata that we turned down, so why any low balling bassa thinks we would bite the hand for 15 mill can get ta fvck the arrogant cvnts

True, but I think this is the one to raise that glass ceiling by a chunk, if he left for under £25m i'd be disappointing, £30m+ would be much fairer, Arsenal would still be getting a bargain in my opinion.

Yup, if he's still keen and not pushing for the move Celtic should reward him with another pay rise.... and a few more years tacked on to his contract for good measure

Yeah, Boyata was £9m with only a year left on his contract, Ntcham was supposedly £14m (rising to £18m potentially with add ons some reported)
Given United are reportedly offering £50m for Wan-Bissaka who doesn't even have an international cap and has never played European football, you have a strong case for a fee in that ballpark...
