Yep a half empty ground waving plastic flags having a weep.
=============================

In reality, it's more likely to be a crammed stadium cheering him as he parades the Premier League trophy for the 5th time in his career.

Deserves all the accolades he gets and will get. It will be a sad day when he goes but we have seen the best PL midfielder of all time and he will always be a true legend.

Wonder what his next move will be esp as he says he could never see himself playing against City.
New York possibly or like VK and Kun back to hos home town club?

He has made no secret that he wants to finish at Las Palmas.
Our final home game is going to be emotional for sure

Milkshake throwers still sore about bottling that 10 point lead I see

Flag wavers vs milkshake throwers.

Some gentle trash talk on here this morning.

I guess the fans could have chose to support a team who have had their ups and downs rather than one of the most successful in the history of this country like a lot of plastics who support liverpool...

Half these ‘new’ Liverpool fans were wearing United shirts a couple of years ago

If they were then surely they're fairly terrible glory hunters, can't personally see the glory in supporting a Moyes or LvG team.

Far more likely that these fictitious fans were supporting Chelsea or City. Or perhaps Real Madrid if your imaginary friends were European glory hunters.

To a lot of people now plastic = successful. I have more respect for fans of clubs who have had their ups and downs then fans who chant "you have no history" while having the benefit and not knowing the pain of seeing their teams in the doldrums.

Yeah, I get that.

Tbh, the 'what have you won' argument is one I equally despise. You could argue that the most genuine football fans are the ones go back to watch their team game after game, season after season with no chance of ever winning anything. Many of those fans watch some pretty turgid football too.

Basically fans of big clubs are largely self-righteous nobheads, myself included

I just enjoy the ride naby. If fans do genuinely flip flop between sides though, that is unforgivable lol

Who said he was too slight? I mean players like Zola, juninho, Owen, makelele all thrived. Be interesting to see who said that.

It was Harry Rednapp and the media jumped on it
