Perhaps the player is on holiday (was snapped in Monaco over the weekend).

Perhaps Spurs want to complete the medical before handing over £50m

Perhaps when the player flies in, completes his medical, holds up a shirt, does all the website photos/interviews etc we'll announce him.

Anyway, another day passes, another £20k saved on his wages. Levy's luvin it!

What would resolve this never ending saga called "Spurs transfers" is if the club were even 20% better at actually telling the fans what is / is not going on.

I agree with the above comments. Either Sky News are complete frauds, who constantly run the risk of liable, or Spurs just can't seem to get their finger out when it comes to transfers.

I mean surely the club must know how the supporters feel about zero transfers in 2 years, and would make some sort of effort to ease the doubt we have in the club's ability to move forward, even to the point of just keeping up with our rivals......or do they just not give a damn ??

The club's PR is machine is the worst in the league

Clueless in how to go about marketing deals imo

Surely you market deal when they are done.

Who wants want s constant updates on who what and when deals might take place. We keep quiet on transfers until its done. Thats how it should be done. The media fill the void with a range of BS. Spurs cant be expected to comment on it.

Clubs like west ham do it differently and their owners are gobsheeites with verbal diarrhoea
