England v USA

I've seen a few games sporadically and have been very dissapointed in the skill levels. The passing is abysmal, usually behind the player they want to pass to (especially on breaks).

The only team who look half decent are USA unfortunately but lets hope we can cause an upset.

I used to be not much of a fan for the ladies football, by an ex-player myself. But recently, I met an ex-Chelsea lady player and she's got a very good knowledge of playing in attacking midfield which was seriously good. So I am not surprised how well this ladies World cup is doing

Rapinoe who play for United States for me, has every attribute of a very good player

Good post Morespurs...

I'm always impressed by women players on their breadth of knowledge on the TV presenters or guests pundits.

Toss up between who I would like to see playing naked less between Millie Bright and Peter Crouch.

Well everyone is entitled to their opinion but I think people should appreciate that women footballers are trained athletes and not pin-ups...there is quite a difference!

Mine was a dig at Harrogate's comment, they are no more pin-ups than most of the guys are and I have yet to see women clamouring to see Crouchy play the game with his old fella out.
Enjoying watching the World Cup, was at the FA Cup final when Leeds ladies got a tonking against Arsenal.

They are athletes and that's why I would watch it if they had their kits off. I've no interest in woman's footy, the skill level is poor.

Been some very enjoyable matches, but the language used by the pundits can be nauseating at times.

VAR ruined many of the early games too. Don't understand how they can get it so wrong after it worked really well in the world cup last summer.

Warwick: yeah the VAR still the system is far from perfect and still needs work on how it should work.

The hype by pundits always is OTT makes me reach for the sick bag at times!

Technically, I think it’s been very good.

Really enjoyed it.

And reasons for me is, it’s quite naive, it’s not been ruined by cash, so it’s not full of defensive nomarks like big small, killing the game.

Not has much cheating either or big egos.

Was just about to write the same Wakey.

Not one grossly overpaid non entity in sight.

Been some cracking games- USA v France case in point.

Rapeino and Lucy Bronze have been great to watch.

This Lucy Bronze is very good at right back...Neville says she's the best player in the world...I think it's banter but having watched her, he could be right?!

The way the woman roll about when fouled gives the impression that if any off the blokes wanted to lay them they'd have a big problem!..

They don't roll about long enough to give any off the blokes a chance of laying them!..

I wonder why the over paid blokes are more like the ones waiting for someone to give them one!..

USA women lost 6-2 to Dallas U15 and Australia women lost 7-0 to a mix of 15 year old boys, so that's not the level of quality I'm into watching. They've done well to showcase it this year but it's not for me. The women keepers make ours look like Shilton and Banks.

First time I’ve ever watched women’s football, great to see, impressed with the quality of passing and the movement, and also that stadium is full, not just family and friends.

I've not watched much woman's football, just the odd game now and then, but I have noticed and said a couple of times that more people are following it year by year!..

And I've also said a few times they don't fall over like their male counterparts!..

Noticed something else while watching this, every time the camera shows a face it doesn't spit!..

This is the First Ladies game I have ever watched, I’m really finding it a struggle if I’m honest.
