Is this addressed to me?
It’s a tricky one separating the artist from the art.
I used to be a big Ryan Adams fan but I can’t listen to him any more. He was king of the heart-break songs and I did always feel like he was as hard-done by in life as his songs suggested.
Then, as it turns out, he apparently wasn’t very nice to women anyway.
And now his songs just feel dishonest and I can’t really empathise with them any more. Had he been singing about race-cars or space travel, it wouldn’t matter but the two are now just uncomfortably linked.
So, to paraphrase, Rolf Harris was shiite anyway. Criminal or not.
Cascada’s Evacuate the Dancefloor is the pinnacle of human evolution, by the by, and will never be bettered.
There is no more music to discover after it.
