Anyone else beginning to feel nervous?
----------------
I can only speak for myself, but it seems most of us here are not complete wet blankets that were born yesterday
No, definitely not nervous. The weather is great here, so plenty of fun to be had, beer to be drunk ( or wine if you have the same taste as me) and the season seems a way off.
Anyway we have loads of good players, so still hopeful.

By the way OP, I don't want to be a pedant but as it's now your title it's disappoint, not your spelling.

Not sure how being nervous about the season ahead given the deficiencies within the squad and our championship level manager, but hey ho.

Well some of the bookies have given us more chance of a top 4 finish than Arsenal and Chelsea so what’s there to be negative about?!
I have a feeling a lot will happen in the market between now and the first game. No way to know what, but we’ll be linked with at least another 40 players so don’t stress!

Id have us down as fighting for 4th with Leicester, Everton, Wolves, Arsenal and Chelsea at the moment.
Yes I’m worried we’re in for another poor summer under Ed, who’s clearly not capable enough.

This.
If we got Maguire and nobody else, but kept Pogba n Lukaku, I think we'd be looking good for top 4.
Maguire n AWB will definitely bring our goals against column down significantly. I don't think Maguire is worth what we will have to pay though but he will improve us.
It’s mad that you have probably more money than most clubs to spend but Ed and the board are not hitting targets
Nothing against Ole but he is not going to attract players to a struggling club. The biggest signing you could make this summer was a world class manager with an open cheque book.
The club are clearly adopting a more careful financial approach this window, which is a good thing.
Doesnt stop people feeling a little nervous about the season ahead.

Giggs and moyes
Oh. OK. I'd agree Jose was world class.I just thought people on here didnt rate him.
I don't agree LVG was world class when we appointed him though.
Big named managers and the galactico approach has been an absolute disaster for us.
Had we built a young exciting squad 6 years ago it could be us now rivalling City for the title, not the dippers.

I never understood why you went the galactico route. It was not a policy you had in the past. Sure you spent big on certain players but never knew you to try and build a team of them.
And I’ve been following Liverpool since 1980
Di Maria, Ibra, Pogba and Sanchez would be the only signings I'd comsider Galacticos, and 2 of them worked out so far
Rumour is you're in for Tierney.
