People have such short memories. Buttler was probably our best test bat last summer. He's in sheite nick right now but he's been class since he was recalled

Yeah, whilst there's some players in the team who need dropping, Buttler isn't one of them. Obviously if he carries on this form for the rest of the series then questions will need to be asked of his place.

Too many ODI players who don't value their wicket. No-one who wants to fight it out and battle for their wicket except from Burns by the looks of it.

Tbf it was faint hope. I knew it was massively optimistic

Just hope it pisses it down tomorrow

All this praising of stokes he averages under 33 and he has batted most of his career at 6 and 5.
This is the issue. hes not a top 6s batsmen. infact NONE of them are NOT one. even Root as been destroyed by the England management by giving him the captains job

Can't wait for Bayliss to p!ss off and we can actually focus on Tests again

Best we can hope for is that it rains all day tomorrow. That only gives Australia 3 days to win, but even that might be long enough.

Your bowlers will value their wicket more than most of your batsmen so I expect Woakes, Broad, Archer & Leach to get you an OK score.

Bayliss is just the absolute worst. Ugh. The attitude he's instilled in this squad is just so unlikable

Buttler defends with his bat way from his body.Your just not gonna get runs at test level with that technique.
