If we can get to 200 we have a chance of a draw.

Will take time out of the game today meaning Australia probably bat until late this evening.

Then they will need to get to 350 minimum which will take at least a day. Probably leaves us with about 2 and a half sessions to bat out to save the draw, which we might manage.

So around the time of our first innings declaration with Woakes reaching his double hundred.

I think we need to start preparing pitches that are horrible to bat on. When we bat on a bad pitch we get bowled out cheaply. When we bat on a good pitch we still get bowled out cheaply.

Let’s just prepare pitches that are a nightmare to bat on for both sides so the opposition don’t score many either.

Need to just be batting tomorrow morning, even if it's only for 20 minutes which should give us 250 minium.

They'll then need 450+ and I don't think they'll have enough time for that.

Not sure, I think they would rather declare with a lead of about 100. Even if we somehow fluked 200 in our second innings that would leave them only needing to chase 100. They'd fancy themselves to do that a lot faster so as to give them more time to bowl us out.

Let's bring back KP and Cook.

Hazlewood's performance really does make his absence in the previous test even more puzzling. He's been far too good for us today.
