30 odd for 2 is a good score at this stage with the ball moving about
Have to get warner while we're all over him...

Add 2 wickets to the score
Jason Roy would be nearing his ton by this stage m8

It does feel annoyingly like he's riding his luck towards scrabbling out a bit of nick. Hate it when batsmen play and miss constantly but somehow survive.
100 points on candy crush back in the dressing room?
More rain imminent they reckon. Lets nip another out before it comes!

bloody hell. england would never get away with all this swing and missing
root is not a good captain.. he should have gone for woakes before now
Rain comes at a good time for England as Australia were building a big partnership.
the weather forecast for today was WRONG. idiots

He should have opened with Broad. I know Archer got a wicket but he's brought his pace down to bowl to the conditions. To his credit, that's good that he's bowling to the conditions but why not get the guy bowling who'd likely use them best?
Think Woakes will open the bowling when they get back out there, if they get back out there today.
Because someone as got into Roots head.. Look at Archer hes an opening bowler and that's it.. It should be who the best option is and it was Woakes.
Archer hasn't bowled badly by any means and Woakes could yet come on and do some damage but you feel the decision is purely based on the impact he had at Lords and that the Aussies may be fearful of him.
I honestly think that Root must be a bit thick?
He's probably got lots of GCSE's & "A" levels, but so have my kids and they know 'nowt either!
why not just get on with it?? why wait all this time? ffs
We need to have them 6/7 down at the close of play minimum.
I've take it they've had a tea break and not gonna wonder off at around 4ish...
Potentially raining for the rest of the day.
Jimmy's injury, rain at Lords, raining most of the day after we bowl... Luck has not been on our side...
