I sleep fine last night but did people of nz. Not fair on them not me. They deserve right call and should be World Cup champion today but instead cheat and lucky and umpire call go wrong way so england have it for 4 years

New Zealand accepted defeat with a lot of class, seems like no one else can do the same

The world cup final was draw even look at scorecard if you don’t believe. Boundary is stupid because then advantage go to team bat last. English press now this but don’t admit because all ways be like that but ok

If England had been in NZ position yesterday, or any other team in this WC, we'd all accept it gracefully that it just wasn't our year and we weren't good enough to win. You should do the same.

As it happens, we were good enough, and deserved it fully

I've never read an article which shows how much pain the author is feeling. England don't make the rules the ICC does. NZ played well but messed up and England took advantage - that's sport.

So what if some of the players have foreign blood in them - most of us do. It's virtually impossible to be 100% English anyway as because we were invaded from various northern European countries we all derive from the Saxons from Germany the Normans from France and the Vikings from Norway for example. Even the Queen has some foreign blood.

So basically Choosh - shut up you massive little bitter racist.

Choose, you are so bitter and it wasn't even your team in the final. England were worthy champs and won by the rules. I'm a first time cricket watcher and the whole tournment blew me away. Not an England fan either.

no I am student from India live in uk for next 2 year only for 3 year course. I like this country and people but not cricket bexUas so many issue with history and cheating and favours for england and think India and aussy are better team in test and odi. I don’t hate anybody just maybe a little in sport tensions

If Oz and india are better than England then why did we beat both of you so easily? Also if India are so good why did NZ beat you as well???? India are bottle jobs and you are a borderline racist so kindly feck off as we've more than enough people like you in the UK already.

Oh and England have 4 batsman better than Kohli (Buttler, Bairstow, Root, Stokes). As for MS Dhoni - he should have retired 5 years ago as he has about as much mobility as Gemma Collins after a gut buster breakfast.
