Thinking about it if Candeias is off, Morelos will be too.

Gerrard came out after the game at the weekend and had a dig about Candeais' consistency.

He said something like he was fantastic against Marseille and scored two great goals but he never did that often enough when it mattered last season.

And frankly he was right.

For me one of the biggest boot in the mawhaws moments last season was when we were 1-0 in the replay against the sheep and all Caneais has to do was roll the ball across the edge of the box for Morelos or Arfield maybe. And he made a complete koontang of it and totally overhit it.

When his quality was good it was good. But it did really let us down at key moments.

I have said it for a while.

For me the three main upgrades we needed from last season were Jack, Candeais and Worrall.

And now we have Ojo, Aribo and Helmander.

Plus I would also ditch Morelos in heartbeat but that's because hes a fud not cos he isn't good enough

Surprising tbh re Candeias, I think he's a very good player and always causes us problems

Morelos is your best player

Candeias is too inconsistent in the final 3rd imo.

I like him but I won't be sad to see him go.

Arfield is first choice on the RW for me.

Agreed.

Our first choice front 3 for me are Arfield, Morelos and Ojo

But I would still sell Morelos in a heartbeat.

I think the team needs to be completely unified on one target this season if we are to have any chance of winning the league.

Morelos has his own agenda in terms of winning a move and getting in the Colombia squad.

It cannot be about Morelos this season. It needs to be about the team.
