I always pick 6 fixtures and usually the Dundee Utd fixture is included due to this site having Dundee Utd fans taking part. That means that a Premiership fixture has to be dropped.

I have stopped doing Friday evening games so when Dundee Utd are playing a Friday they won't be included

Why not 8?

I took over from BTG and 6 games worked so I kept it at that - no real technical explanation, just an "that's the way it always has been". There are times when it gets to the cup semi finals that I struggle to get 6 games without using half the Championship games

When I was running it last year I found that quite a few didn't predict until the Saturday and so always lost out. Early Saturday kick offs normally reminded folk to predict but quite often they missed the Friday kick off
