Guys this sniping over Ceballos is silly. It's a good bit for the Goonies. They have limited budget because they can't get CL. So they loan an excellent midfielder who could (won't) get them back in the CL, thereby affording them a bigger budget and therefore they can replace Ceballos next season.
The Saliba move however, especially paying half their budget up front, is totally perplexing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I would have said the same but I know where there weakness is and it's not a massive issue at the back, made even worse by the attitude of their captain who is the heart of their defense?
A captain who disobeys the club and wants out?
So don't tell me Ceballos will be a good signing if at the back they are as good as a big sieve trying to stop the leak!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't get me wrong, their club is a total shambles now and it's hilarious that they're pursuing Zaha when their defence is more porous than a sponge, but I don't think Ceballos is a bad signing at all. Assuming that they actually buy some defenders...

We're paying in instalments, as all clubs do.
~£5M this year.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep we’ve only spent £5m too
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I meant for the Saliba deal. We also spent £6M on martinelli
Also. We'll see what the deal is with Saliba. The rumour was that Levy bid 25+5 for him and Arsenal had to match it. Guess we'll see when the accounts are published/ if they spend £35m plus this window.

Surely that’s £1m a year for 6 years though right?
In other news I'm tired of looking at Newsnow for confirmation of Lo Celso, Sessegnon etc. Bring on the the end of the window and the start of the new season!

Though it must be a relatively small budget if you're bidding Less than 40m for Zaha.

Do you think at Arsenal working amateurs who dont know what they doing? Besides that I dont even want Zaha for that money.
2 weeks of the window to go, Lo celso is still on holiday, Sessegnon is still injured, there is no advantage to Spurs bringing in these players just yet.

this morning you did an article and ended saying its going to be an exciting season and your chairman is pushing boat out (in terms of transfers).
End of today you need more transfers and your worried about your current squad. Which is it?
My view is spurs need at least 2 top quality players to complete with city n liverpool next season for the league. Squads more than capable of a cup but 2 decent players will transform your team.
