We've tried for years at Palace to relocate (we all know Selhurst is a dump) but to no avail. Too many councils along with too many nimbys etc.

I guess that’s the curse of the location. The atmosphere is/can be electric in SP.

Wasn’t something in press in Parish wanting to develop the current ground?

Looks great, would be fantastic for Everton. Deffo taking some cues from Spurs who themselves took cues from other modern stadia. Single tier ‘yellow wall’ influenced stand, places for fans to spend the whole day in the ground (and therefore spend money), integrated safe standing options for future use.

Only thing I wondered is if Everton are being a bit unambitious with the capacity - 52,000? If the club grows as a result of the project, they wouldn’t want to retro fit added capacity.

Plans are in place to be able to increase capacity as the club (fingers crossed) grows.

Think it’s an additional capacity to 62k. Like the little nod towards some of the classic Archibald Leitch features at Goodison.
