Fair play Kolasinac, clearly a tough fecker whereas we din't learn anything new about Ozil given he just hid when the going got tough as usual.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you're not well informed you shouldnt talk.
The truth is that Özil wanted to help Kola first but because they have their wives in the car they decided that Özil drove away to the next restaurant to call the police.
Don't bring a knife to a tank fight.
London seems to be getting worse

You’d think he could afford a cell phone and not have to hope that a kebab place up the street can call the police.
Fack the robbers...they are so prevalent in London is because police are slow to bring them justice.
Let's see the stats people start run the robbers under their 4x4....

They? He left his mate behind!
Here’s the plan, you get out, start swinging, I’ll run away and save us!
As people have rightly pointed out here, the true way to judge if footballers playing styles are justified or not is to put them up against 2 armed robbers
That's mental. Fair play to Kolasinac, looked like he went mental there
What a shiiite country though, absolute state of it
Facking scuumbags.
Fair play to Kolasinic although you worry about how that ends up with possible acid and knife attacks.

They don't happen as frequently.
Generally I find North London just a horrible place to be.
There are pockets of nice areas but they're few and far between.
Yep. I live east london and my girlfriend is from north/east. Most of it is hideous apart from the odd pocket as you say
Gentrification in inner London is taking its toll, as those displaced (cannot afford new rents and moved on from local council) move north, in particular in two streams: one heading to Brent and the other the Lee Valley. You should take a walk to Hackney, it’s unrecognisable to what it was twenty years ago. Back then you wouldn’t want to go walking alone in the area, heavens forbid you ended up at Clapham junction, outside the Argos, at night. Now, there is poncy cereal cafes, fancy new apartments and millennials eating avocado toast. The rough element is being pushed out and northward.
Having said that, I lived in North London for 27 years and it’s miles safer than most other parts, quite affluent as well, in parts.
Horrendous situation for anyone to be in, the little idiots need prosecuting to the full extent of the law. Thankfully they targeted a professional athlete, whose job is literally to be in peak physical fitness. Let’s hope they get caught.
I live relatively close to the area and have two minds about it.
Generally I have a lot of sympathy for the people living there and as the person above rightly says, the cost of living has made life very difficult for low earners in the area.
However, when you're actually in the area - particularly after dark - even as a big bloke, I don't feel safe. There are some absolute scuumbags living there and aside from the safety aspect, the respect on show is non existent. Littering, loud music etc. - it feels as if people don't give two sheites about their community.
Honestly, if you can (it's often incredibly difficult to move depending on your skill-set) leave the UK. The whole place is going down the toilet

Trouble is, it's where family and friends are.
My wife and I live close to her parents (invaluable when you've got a young child!) and we have built a lovely life for ourselves here.
Living abroad does interest me but I feel I'd be losing so much.
London is unique, it really is the only true city in the country - at least in terms of international mega cities. You can walk Manchester, Edinburgh etc in a few hours. London can take days to see its parts and that includes north, south, east and west in that Greater London ring. More jobs and openings than you can shake a stick at, amenities and stuff to do is second to non... if you have built a decent life there and the expense is not crushing you I would say it would be very hard to leave.
I also had a kid with my partner in North London but took a research position at York and moved as what we could afford up here is just miles more than what we got in London. And certain areas in the north, proportionally, smash the crime rate in parts of London... look at Grimsby
