Pepe to Arsenal

Arsenal are leaving us behind on the transfer front. Although I have heard Lo Celso may sign when he returns from his three month holiday.

Lo Celso is edging closer thou

Would be a very good signing, he is gonna be a top player.

However, their defence is still bobbins and I can’t imagine they will have anything left to spend after this transfer. They are strengthening their strongest position.

Sandy I reckon GLC will be with us by the end of this week so you can stop going on about it. Book mark it.

Putting pressure on Palace for Zaha with these rumours, just like us with the Dybala fiction trying to pressure Betis for Lo Celso

posted on 27/7/19

If indeed deal agreed, you have to give them credit. Saw the rumours in the press few days ago and then boom..done!!
If it was us it will drag and drag

I would have pushed the boat out a little for Zaha as he proven in the premiership and at his peak.
Pepe is a good player from the bits I have seen of him but Zaha always seemed to have an influence in most games last season.

£72m is a huge fee, I reck Aubameyang must be off otherwise it makes no sense.

If ever a team needed to fly what Liverpool did and spend big on a world class keeper and CB then it was Arsenal.

It’s not our strongest position. We basically have no wingers at all. So we do need to buy there. We do really need defenders though. Kind of odd we’re spending so much up top, but suppose it’s smart if a good player is available to get it done. I expect we’ll sign a defender, but likely to be just Tierney. But need a LB and a CB ideally

Auba of to Utd then ?

I honestly don't get it. Say what you want about Arsenal but rarely is scoring goals a problem for them. They desperately need top class defenders and CMs in my opinion. Spose they know better than me but I'm not sure this signing does too much to improving their league position.

Yeah I was just thinking of him as an attacker rather than specifically a winger.

You definitely need to upgrade that defence this season.

Chill. FFS we have had all summer to sign players, and have only signed one. What`s going on. Arsenal are taking us completely to the cleaners on transfers, no two ways about that. They are getting their business down, whilst Spurs are still dithering. Standard.

Yes. Arsenal are spending 72 million on a 36 year old CB.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't forget the instalments. 1/5 of the fee to be paid for each red card.

Well be liquidated next summer

We’ve signed 3 Ndombele, Clarke and Etete, Arsenal have signed 3 players also as you know - the young Brazilian lad, Saliba and Ceballos.

Etete and the young Brazilian lad are unlikely to push for first team places, but will develop.

Clarke and Saliba have both gone back on loan to the clubs they were bought from.

Ndombele and Ceballos are both likely to be first team players. Crucially Ndombele is a permanent signing for us whereas Ceballos is just a loan.

Sandy please make it clear how Arsenal are taking us to the cleaners with transfers.

Clarke and Etete. They are not signings, I doubt either will ever play a Prem game for Spurs.

They are about to sign Pepe, and all three of their summer signings will go straight into their first XI. Spurs need strengthening especially in the full back position, and absolutely nothing happening.

He was a few days ago then we lost a pre season game and he turned.

Normally takes a few months into the season to turn like this
