Who knows what deals have been going on for the last month. Yes, we seem to be pushing each one over the line one by one, but I am sure the groundwork is being done in parallel.
We'll see 2 out and 1 in by the week's end, i think.

I think we will see at least 1 in. Possibly 2.
I expect Smalling and Lukaku to leave. Possibly Darmian too.
I think we may see some exits after the PL window is closed, the likes of Darmian, maybe Rojo, probably Lukaku etc being sold abroad.
We could possibly get 1 in before Thursday, but I'm not so sure.

Just seen that it closes at 5pm. I used to quite enjoy sitting up on a night to see all the last minute deals.
Used to be better though, last few years final day has been boring or already most deals were well known. I went to bed one year and woke up and checked my phone about 3am and it was when we'd signed Falcao etc and sent Welbeck to Arsenal, was so surprised, thought it was a great deal as well

I hope so.
Deadline day's never been the same since that purple dilldo
We have addressed the right side of our defence well, I am not convinced Maguire is better than Smalling or Lindelof, so the jury is out for that one.
Midfield is still an issue but I like our attacking options, especially with James, Greenwood and Gomes in the mix.
We are going through a rebuild and we will learn a lot about the players we've got.
Sit back and enjoy the ride and do not analyse results too much. Performances and style of play are the key things to focus on this season.
The next window is far more critical

How can you top that?
I'm hoping this whole post Fergie era is just a bad dream tbh, I'm still in bed hungover after our title win and I was drunk and imagining things when SAF said his goodbyes on the pitch. He's still here, we're champions. He's still here. We're champions.

Too early to throw the towel in already surely. I did expect more players to have left and more quality to have been added though.
CL football has to be the objective. Get that and it's a good season.

I am not throwing in the towel mate, I am just trying to manage the expectations of some people on this board.
Some will expect us to win every game after all, we beat teams in preseason.
I am focused on style of play and performances this season. Anything else is a bonus
