The stadium could use some work...

Maybe Wilfried Zaha. Would be cheaper than his reported cost as of his sell on fee.

Put him on the right and we look a lot more dangerous. And he’s played under Ole before

Paying off Young, Rojo, Darmian, Jones would be good business.

Clearly Ole wants a creative type, so that's how we should spend it.

Zaha would just be another player to turn us down.

Nobody has bought Fernandes yet, just get him for £60m or whatever the fee is meant to be. Spurs probably get that Celso and ship Eriksen abroad.

Fernandes has a 35m release clause. If a bid is rejected, they pay him 5m. They want 60-70m for him. United apparently do not think he's worth this much.

We should have tested the water with a 45m bid. But it seems like we were never interested in him

Should've given Tielemans a decision to make.

Not for £70m

Two CDM/CMs would help you guys. There's plenty of attacking threat and creativity that will struggle without a solid base behind them

Not a midfielder but surprised nobody has gone for Ziyech.

Or one more CB?

Outgoing sales and/or loans will happen after the English window closes.

Darmian, TFM, Lukaku, possibly one of Smalling, Jones and Rojo, and possibly a surprise in midfield or up top.

Dalot should be back up for AWB and Shaw, giving him plenty of games.

Young as back up to Dalot if both of them are injured.

Smalling and Tuanzebe back up to Lindelof and Maguire, with Bailly when he's back (as we can't sell him now really).

Jones, Rojo and Darmian should go if we can sell them. Although Jones seems unlikely to be sold abroad.

We need five CBs available, so I think only one of Smalling, Jones and Rojo will go before we have Bailly back.

Rojo seems like the most likely CB to leave.

This is what I don't get. Why on earth would we be entertaining the thought of getting Eriksen when this guy is available?

Because he is currently better, and actually in the league we play in, not some conference league

Manchester United have turned down a bid from Everton to take Chris Smalling on a season-long loan.

Ole Gunner Solskjaer sees the former England international as an integral part of his defence, alongside Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof.

Good, Smalling is a decent CB and can stay fit for more than half a match

I guess you don't rate this guy then.

Haven't seen him myself but was under the opinion on here that he is the bees knees. If that isn't the case then it makes sense why we are not after him.

I rate him on the few games i've seen him in the Portuguese league, but we have seen much hyped players fall at the next hurdle (Sanches being a good example).

If we sign him, i'll be excited, but also fully aware that we are not buying a player anywhere close to the final product as someone like Eriksen.

You know the score on here though VC... Each season we are linked to a shiny new foreign player that everyone gets obsessed about and thinks will propel us to CL finals and open top buses.
