Or for Nelson/Smith Rowe?
Arsenal are the real winners of this window
I feel like Everton were desperate enough to pay more than 35M
I'm a bit sad about that.

A purely financial decision, imo.
Got to keep that 20 something-year run of profits going.
35-40 million
What the actual fack
Someone at arsenal must have dirt on Marco silva or bill Kenwright !
If we get £40 mil for someone who's not even guaranteed 2nd choice it's amazing
Great business getting £35-40m for a an academy squad player hopefully we get Zaha in January or that defender from RB Leipzig. Well done Raul and Edu and Vinai. Kudos to the Kroenkes as well keep taking us up and up.
How the Home Grown situation
A Brilliant window for Arsenal, I still think you're weaker at centre-half, Koscielny is better than Luiz.

Luiz just has to stay fit for the season then he is more useful than kos, he won't be 1st choice next season

35 premier league games he played last season. So granted you bought Pepe but who else would have been ahead of him?

Thoughts are he'd have had limited playing time out wide this season, leaving some thinking he might be used more centrally. That clearly wasn't the thinking of the manager, who now has a lot more options available there too.
Wish him quite well at Everton though. Think he'll do a job for you.
Good lad too

To be honest, it's an underwhelming signing imo, butcwilling to give the lad a chance.
He appears to split your fan base in half.
What would you say are his strengths & weaknesses?

Very good dribbler and has pace and not dispose off the ball but needs patience can be frustrating with his finishing.
I think the price is high due to being a bit desperate after Zaha going through.
The guy can dribble and is decent enough passing and moving but he's super inconsisent in the box, for him it's probably the best time to change he would have just fallen behind more if he stayed this season. He'll either be a bargain or a disaster

Me as well. Good squad player. Dont want him moved on.
A good deal for both sides.
Arsenal get a good fee and Iwobi gets to play more for a team which is actually his level.
Good luck Alex๐

Appearances across all competitions:
2012/13........26
2013/14........34
2014/15........20
2015/16........34
2016/17........39
2017/18........39
2018/19........51
You will be hard pressed to find a 23 year old with those kind of numbers in the top flight.
For a side with our history with injuries, Iwobi will be a massive loss.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
He has no end product. That's his main weakness. He was the worst shooter in our squad after Welbeck. Can't cross. Obsessed with cutting in on his right foot which makes him predictable.
He's a good link-up player though and handles the ball well enough. Has decent pace if he's willing to use it. Eager and disciplined.
I wish the lad well and hope he develops. Cos he was static at Arsenal.
Strengths are difficult to judge really, as it feels it's mainly about potential with him than anything. He works hard for the team though. But then, he's an Arsenal lad, so... He's not the quickest, but has a burst of pace and is fairly hard to knock off the ball.
His biggest weakness I'd say was his confidence has always seemed to be easily knocked. Bit of a problem for players coming through under Wenger though.
His decision making, shooting and final ball leave a bit to be desired too. But I've always felt they were tied in with lacking confidence to make mistakes and bounce back.
Didn’t necessarily want Iwobi to go as our wide options are pretty shocking but £35M is an incredible deal for Arsenal. This is probably a record sale for us ๐
