The players are insured so no reason not to play. The situation is no different to what it was at at Wycombe, the club is in administration. They had the right to hand their notice in but didn't.

do we still have to field a certain number of players from the previous match in this cup thing on Tuesday night or does that apply in another cup ?

Normally on a Monday we'd be talking about Saturdays game but what's on the menu for today.
Takeover
Judges ruling
Tomorrow nights team
Bassini announcing he's moving the town of Bolton back into Lancashire and the club closer to Bolton town centre.

It’s about time FV pulled there finger out and the administration team gave us a date when completion will happen.
This is supposed to be about a football club moving forward, the players and management have done there jobs, can you please do yours.
I’m sick of hearing how you are burning the midnight oil
Trying to complete this deal.
Then there’s nothing for a week.

The takeover is off until court on Wednesday. Ken v bassini. What happens if bassini wins? If the judge adjourns? Bassini loses and appeals? What is the longest any club has been in administration?

Think somebody did a good six months in admin but legally as long as its trading with a potential to sort it all out the old how long is a piece of string comes to mind.
If his claim is not flawed I'm going for a technical knockout LB should have filed before admin blag blah admin rules over all obligations contracts etc he's out

I am dreading Wednesday to be honest.
We don't know what paperwork LB gave the judge and more to the point what was written in that paperwork.
If it was written using a coloured crayon, then KA should win by default, but any other outcome would be disastrous for us all.
Will FV be willing to hang on a bit longer? Given that they have already foot the bill for the Coventry game. Or will they now walk away?
Does LB pay all creditors and non creditors the full money owed for both club and hotel?
My head hurts just thinking about it all now.

This LB contract would have been obvious for all to see during due diligence there would have been full disclosure of everything wouldn't there. Don't rule out the judge not being able to figure out who is right or wrong and unable to rule suffering a nervous breakdown retiring on ill health grounds when all replacements are on their holidays all of August ...........Confused? You won't be after this week's episode of Soap.

It's a minefield. My thoughts are that Bassini having failed the EFL test should not be allowed anywhere near the club. Unfortunately, the case may not rest on what the EFL rules say. The judge will weigh up the contents of the contract and make a ruling on what it contains.

What happens if he rules for Bassini is anyone's guess. I presume that the EFL would then need to give Bassini the chance to pass it's test once again.

However, if pasty is right regarding a technical knockout that could end the saga but if that was the case wouldn't the judge have stopped his application immediately?

Here's hoping the first judge had a quick read of LB's submission and thought what the hell I'll give him a chance I ain't got time for this some other judge can rule on this on appeal not me. Thus passing the buck legally as he had to be home early for that candle lit supper at the Buckets
