Chelsea’s biggest ‘weapon’ will be their double pivot in Kante and Jorginho which will be tasked with quieting down Pogba. Good battles will be AWB vs Pulisic and Tammy Welbeck vs Maguire. Also will be interesting to see how Emerson does against Lingard
later on James vs (a tired) Azpilecueta!
Cant be predicted as know one knows what United will be like this season. Unlike Chelsea, a few new players and a new determination an attitude from the players is promised, apparently. We shall see.
I always expect United to win at home. To anybody.
But so many 'pundits' have predicted United out of the top this season.
So all that makes us the dark horses this season in my book. Bring it on.

Depending on which pogba turns up, might be the easiest job on the park to ‘quiet’ him down.
I don't understand why everyone keeps seeing Fred with Jose's eyes. If given a real chance and a decent run of games, Fred could be massive for us.
Hoping I'm wrong, but it's got draw written all over it imo.
Score draw? 2-2.
What pains me about Chelsea. They have no respect for O.T. They come here and always score.
Should be a cracker of a game.
Yeah, i’m still dreaming 3-0/4-0...
Martial Hatrick. Yeah, we got our No:9 back!!!
COME ON!! getting pumped as the minuets tick by!!
Time for a cup of tea..

You’ll have an annus like the channel tunnel by the time the game kicks off if someone is constantly pumping you!
You really are a dirty so and so...
Chelsea are weaker, for numerous reasons.
I think we dominate them today
2-0.
And win the treble on the back of it

I’m not the one playing hide the sausage
Leaving for Manchester in an hour, haven't been this excited about a season opener for a long time.

I dunno, Game of Thrones was pretty epic...
4-1 United. It's the score that's been going round my head all week. Chelsea aren't at full strength at the back without Rudiger so I hope we exploit that today.
If we see plenty of pace and energy and some composure in the finishing I believe we will win.
Cmon United!
‘I’m not the one playing hide the sausage’
Why would i hide a sausage? I like sausages. Had 2 Saveloys at the same time, once. Mmm..
Hold on!! This is this double speak thingy isn’t it.
Can’t you just let me have this day, we got 9 months.
Man UTD haven’t kicked a ball yet dammit!!
And yes, i’m still getting Pumped!! and i know you are too!!
Cos we are UTD!! We Will Never Die!!
CRY FECKIN’ HAVOC!!!!!
There’s no way McTominay has already reached his level. He’s improved YoY at United and finished the season as one of our better performers. Looked even better in pre-season. Years off his peak.
He could become a very good player. He’s definitely got the work ethic.
I suspect it might be a bore draw.
0-0.

Agreed. From being written off by many for not being flashy to an essential cog now, he will go on to be very important to us imo.
The only other worry is that, last season, our final 3rd intelligence was appalling.
We got players that can finish, but we were missing the guile to break through. The composure to knife through teams with great link up play. It would often break down
If Ole has us now playing at a frenetic pace for the 90. I’m talking very quick transitions of play. Then i cant see how many teams can handle it, unless they park the bus.
Well, thats how i see it anyway...

Depends. If sky have-gone OTT built it up as the greatest super Sunday ever then...
Yes, it will be a snooze fest
I'd back United today personally. Think our Lampard "revolution" will be a slow built process, we'll improve as the season goes, based on absolutely nothing but gut instinct (and I'm usually wrong as hell).
Also expect Pulisic to be absent all game and our board to be full of wummery tonight. Again, based on nothing tangible.
