Is this another Wahl account!

Lampard was overrated as a player.
The only reason he scored the goals he did - he was carried by real world class players around him, that and about 100 penalties.

A pity there's no world class manager to prop him up now.

From One of the OPs articles last season!
“Didn't see the game but it appears Frank may be one for the future for us. If he continues this way I can easily see Frank at the helm and deservedly so, steering the big Chelsea ship to victory, trophy after trophy, like an adventure. ”

Yea, buts its too soon, you agree, don't you? a few more years and Frankie would be seasoned enough to take the wheels, he loomed lost and bewildered to me today, as if be needed someone to consult. Maybe the club should bring in an experienced Technical Assistant while Frank remains Head Coach for a few seasons until the ship is steady.

I'm Capello.
If you were here during AVB's reign then you'll remember me.

Strong contender for worst JA606 post I've ever read. What a load of rubbish.

Frankie was actually overrated, couldn't create or do much on his own. IMO. same as Scholes.

Chelsea were the better side for most of the first half and could have been 3 up before the penalty. Well be fine . Utd took their chances and Dea Gea was by far their best player.

There’s an old cliche “it’s a game of two halves”

So at the end of the two halves, what was the score?

and Gerrard, little wonder England won nothing during their reign.

Lampard might get lucky and keep his job even after a poor season as it seems Abramovich can't be arssed much these days, hence Lampard's appointment in the first place.

The obsession to play the kids could be his undoing.
Non top 6 clubs could get away with playing 3 kids at an away ground like Old Trafford in the first game ofthe season.
Is Tammy Abraham better than Giroud for example?

who the fack is rent boy kev, what dishwater team does he support.
Utd fans really think that performance is showing they are back, far from it their was tom for most of the game only looking good because of a very biased scoreline

No but hes no worse either and we cant buy before next year so hell have to use him. Mason Mount had a fantastic game today dictated most of our play throughout the game, Pulisic needs bedding in time but looks very good we wont win the league this season but well beat a lot of sides and still be in contention for top 4 at the end.

You do look at that team, and wonder where the goals are coming from.
Going to be a tough season for Frank.
If indeed he lasts that long.

the thing is if he didnt play the inexperienced neophytes then half the Chelsea fan base would be doing their usual "tears in the eye" style moaning. Good on him for trying it , he has the support of most here at least for the next few games, before reality genuinely beckons its ugly mug.
Being Chelsea I would not be at all surprised if we go on to win the next 7 matches in a glorious winning streak. Deluded ? Sure, but i do sense it happening.

I think I'm getting old, I really want to debate but I can't be bothered.

Saw a lot of promise today, there, that's all I got.

Except to say this would be a free year for any manager for me due to our ban, I believe this is why Frank's here. It will help with his experience and we have had far less qualified managers during Romans Empire began.

It was clearly premature to get rid of David Luiz. Zouma was terribly out of depth and there was no leader esp in defence. After losing the attacking potency and threat of Hazard it's now easier for the opposition to launch attacks at Chelsea. Chelsea dominated most of first half but were very wasteful, should have scored at least twice before United did.
