How close is Sabri to knowing his best team? I think the best thing about today was that bringing on the subs made no difference to the performance level. The two changes to the starting eleven were a slight surprise as was Matty Cash at RB again but he had a really good game.
I think we could make another two or three changes on Wednesday and still get a result - Bostock and Silva could start.
Can't wait.
It seemed that the midfield had a bit more about it. Certainly got forward a lot more and it showed in the number of chances created. Won’t have as many willing victims like Brum who come and surrender so easily but it is a timely confidence boost for everyone.
Guedioura off to the Middle East. Good move for him. A little bit more pressure off the squad for Lamouchi.
I hope he doesn’t expect a 3rd contract with us in a years time

More comebacks than a tiring old rock band.
The midfield was interesting. Both Sow and Semedi were winning the ball and carrying it through to the final third. When Brum tired and went to 4-4-2 Lamouchi brought on Silva who prefers to find space and receive the ball 'between the lines'. It worked a treat as we caused havoc when we freshened up with him and Adomah.
