I think they should shorten the season to two games.

city
liverpool
spurs
united

will obviously be the top 4

yeah no doubt kloppite...it will be a tough year, but its been slim lines so far. Our worst performance by far was the game we actually got a point from, strangely enough.
Fine margins atm, hit the woodwork a few times, had offside goals, just need to sharpen up a bit and we will be rolling soon imo.

I am a big United fan and despite Chelsea being our biggest rivals for the title in recent years, even I have to admit that they're still more of a threat to us in the title race than Liverpool. We have never really had any bother with Liverpool as they've never challenged us so not much of a rivalry with them. Hate Chelsea but they're a level above Liverpool. From a MUFC fan as well btw.

yes i agree arsenal convinced me theyll finish in the top 4 with two convincing wins against newcastle and burnley to start...two teams likely to be fighting relegation..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arsenal of Wenger would have dropped points in one of those fixtures though.
And they've bought decent players in Ceballos, Luiz and Pepe.

no they wouldnt have. arsenal for years have looked on the ropes against the chit teams and then score quick goals 2nd half to win the game. it was against the big sides where wenger fell.

between spurs, utd, arsenal it could be close for 3rd-5th

chelsea are giving game time to rookies, defence look rubbish and now no real star forward player.

I would probably go with that with the only caveat that Arsenal have only played Newcastle and Burnley.

I do have a feeling though that Arsenal are going to do well and may even sneak a result in their next game against Liverpool.

Liverpool haven't been convincing but winning whilst not playing well is a good sign.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I would say we were convincing against Norwich when we thrashed them 4-1 and should have scored seven or 8. Not so much against Southampton who tried the high energy approach knowing we'd just played a cup final in Istanbul into extra time and penalties. We still got the result, which many wouldn't have in those circumstances.

Top of the league, trophy under the belt and looking good.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Didn't you pooh-poohed Utd result against Chelsea and claim Norwich would have beaten Utd?

So when Utd win convincingly it's due to playing poor opposition but when Liverpool do the same it's because they were good? Take your head for a wobble soft lad. Liverpool have been bang average and your defense is looking very vulnerable.

Why not in that team? If you are alluding to the team being poor, then surely he makes even more of a difference?
He was the best player on the pitch on wednesday for starters.

city always start off on a flyer and are the best team in the league no doubt. only thing putting doubt in my mind for them winning it is 3 times in a row and the chasing pack are meh, liverpool will be good again but no where near their incredible efforts last season.

Liverpool are playing at about 40% of their ability.
Still top, looking good.😀
Think we'll put a fair few past that Arsenal defence.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You better hope they're playing at 40%.

Didn’t you lose. He’s a good player but you’re acting like he has hazard game changing ability.

Let me clarify he doesn’t.

I think Man city does have weakness but not many in the league can exploit it.

Shame Liverpool couldn't exploit it during the recent Community Shield.
