This for Torino for me
Only two teams not won, only four teams not lost.
Common denominator, WWFC.
Weird.
Talk that Belotti was out for a week or two prove false as he starts today
I thought it was a case of tired minds as much as tired legs today. The sharpness and movement weren't there and it took more than 80 minutes for us to test the keeper. But it was thoroughly satisfying and wholly fitting to get a pen right at the end end of added on time given the time wasting they indulged in.
I've got a lot of time for Dyche but his whingeing and gesticulating got on my wick today so fook him.
Was a little baffled at the subs today Neto came on and played well but was running the same channels ad Doherty and then Traore, who for me should've come on 15 minutes earlier. And why no Cutrone ? Would've thought a more direct approach would have worked today and some height and strength in the box might have been called for.
Not sure I agree that a direct approach was the answer for today, that would be playing the way Burnley like to play. What we never did today until Traore came on was get behind them in wide positions. As soon as they were made to face their own goal they looked more vulnerable and Jiminez hit the post and then got the pen. Agree though that we looked tired mentally and physically and Doherty, Jonny, Moutinho, Neves, Jiminez and Jota were all well below par. I think it’s the travelling more than the game time that takes its toll from these European Away games. Not good for preparation or for recovery
What Burnley did really well was knock balls early to Wood and Barnes and then although they didn’t win much off our defence their midfield were repeatedly quicker than us to the second ball and that put us on the back foot. That coupled with our passing being so poor today meant we rarely put them under any pressure
Think Burnley will have a better season than last time - maybe about 14th or so.
Wolves have drawn their first three games of a league campaign for the first time since 1938-39, when they finished second in the top flight.
But are we really prepared to settle for the runners-up spot?

I would settle for 2nd place provided we won the Europa League and the FA Cup. Then we can kick on next season.
Amazing lead up to kick off today with thousands trying to keep up to speed with the cricket score. Phones buffering continuously because of the volume of people doing the same thing. Surely the most amazing test match of all time and the greatest innings by Ben Stokes. To get a final wicket partnership of 76 with Stokes getting 75 of those was unbelievable. And we finally won 5 minutes before kick off

Yes, a wolves fan came on the radio saying Burnley played championship football, but I thought the quality of their long balls was very high and very effective. Barnes is on a real hot streak too and took his chance really well.
Torino won their game 2-1 tonight. Two goals from Zaza
How many tickets have Torino sold ?
Not that Neto was sensational or anything this afternoon but i am feckin delighted that he seems to have settled in nicely but also that he doesn't seem in the slightest bit nervous or overawed by where he suddenly finds himself.
Probably regret posting this a week from now but today was our fifteenth consecutive home game with defeat i believe.
Yeah but how many tickets sold ?
I made that up but think its close, was around 600 yesterday
Another frustrating performance from MGW yesterday. He does change the balance of our midfield by playing further forward than the usual 3 and yet when he does he on the ball he often plays the safe backwards pass. When he does play positively he does have some good moments. I’m sure his time will come, he is certainly not lacking in ability
The ticket sales of Torino is not publicised. They have to send back what they haven’t sold at the end of Tuesday so we will know then. If a new batch of tickets go on sale to Wolves fans in the north bank quadrant in Wednesday then we will know they haven’t sold many. Wolves have sold out of home tickets
All history and bad sentiment aside, I have to say I find it sad to see whats happening at Bolton and Bury. The thing that strikes me is the arrogance of the EFL in all this, I know their rules have been repeatedly broken by both clubs, but the way they are acting you'd think they want them to go out of existence. You would think the league would be bending over backwards to support the clubs, instead they seem to have imposed an arbitrary deadline of expulsion which cannot be met instead of allowing them all of the time possible to work with administrators and potential buyers. In Bolton's case it does look clear that there is no workable solution and inevitably the club will be wound up but why would the EFL not allow some leniency to one of its founder members even at the expense of some inconvenience to its other members?
Completely agree with you oldie and it isn’t that long ago that Wolves were close to being in the same situation that Bolton and Bury find themselves in now. The heart of the problem at those clubs as it was at Wolves is the farcically ineffective fit and proper person checks that are undertaken when a new owner takes a club over.
