Dele going to come back the same Dele as last season.
Something is just not right in the set up at Spurs. We aren't as flowing as we once were. Is it the change of stadium, the change in personnel, the messing about with selections? I don't know.

I think the faith in the 'masterplan' is fading. The players are starting to feel that we won't win trophies under Poch. I don't necessarily agree with that but that tenacity and desire isn't there anymore. If it were, players wouldn't be running down their contracts.
The man that made this team tick is now plying his trade in China. We played our best football in years with Dembele in the side. Unless Ndombele can mirror half what the great man did then our struggles will continue.
We are a mistake waiting to happen. Poch should just play his best team from the start and leave his ego at his front door. Sanchez is a mistake waiting to happen . I said at the time we bought him he was error prone and I only had to watch him for 5 mins. Our scouts haven’t got a faacking clue. We tend to get it more wrong than right it’s irritating !

Mourinhbro to take over from him?
Spurs were at their best with a powerful and dynamic midfield base and full backs. Those areas have regressed and as a result so have Spurs.
Ndombele looks like a player that could address some of the issues in the middle but full back still remains an issue.
Just back from the game and have to say, that was as poor as I have seen in terms of energy, creativity, and no one with the will ( or ability ) to grab the game and push us on.
They all had the attitude " oh, it is too hot, and I just can't be bothered to run"
That said, I have seen a few time wasting tactics over the last few years, but have to say Newcastle today were top drawer for that, and have perfected to act of falling over apparently injured, and staying down until they get the game stopped. Oh and then jump up and run away when this has been achieved. Must have been about 20 minutes in total when you factor in the keeper apparently needing to study his goal kick for at least 2 minutes before actually kicking the ball.

They're just not actually that good. Their first 11 is a match for anyone in a one off game but they're not consistent enough.
You don't lose 13 games in a season if you're as good as some fans seem to think they are.

This. Thought the general consensus that they were nailed on for 3rd by most pundits & fans on here was premature given they only just scraped 4th by a point in the last day & lost 13 in the league (20 overall) last season. They appear to have added well but something seems off with them & it’s been going on all year. 3rd - 7th between 5 maybe 6 teams imo.

New signings or not - spurs shouldn’t be this poor.
Something seems wrong.
They don’t look any different to what they did last season - where they were pretty shiiiiit in the prem most of the season. But I don’t think you can say they’ve gone backwards after three games - and highlight their signings - especially when Ndombele is the only one that has started any of the matches and had any pre season. Spurs are usually slow starters under Pochettino as well. I don’t think you have a handle on Spurs at all.

That’s ridiculous. They look far worse than last season - how on earth do you finish in the top 4 by being pretty shiiit in the prem? If they were as bad you’re making out they would have been mid table.
Slow starters? I would agree with that in some ways, but the performances have looked way behind early starts they have had in previous premier league seasons. If you were right in what you are saying then Spurs fans wouldn’t be concerned would they?
Poch is looking unhappy, Eriksen sits on the bench, comments in the media from poch about the fact he shouldn’t be called a manager, losing at home to Newcastle already and you’re trying to make out it’s all business as usual?
Honestly mate go and do one

You never have anything positive to say here and spend more time posting about us than your own team..Obsessed and bitter.
Obviously we got under your skin
Did you even watch Spurs last season? They lost 13 games in the league alone. Many of their wins were laboured and relied on late winners to dig them out of a hole. Their performances are pretty similar to what they served up for the vast majority of last season. But it’s three games. It’s facking retaaaarded to make any judgement on it given they usually start slow and have yet to have all their new signings integrated into the team.
There seem to be political issues with regard to Eriksen and Vertonghen, which isn’t helping matters, but they had this before with Toby so time will tell what happens on that one.
The bottom line is we lost our best player and the best central midfielder I have ever seen at Spurs in Dembele last season and coupled with that were riddled every week with injuries and struggled to cope.
It was an absolute miracle we made the CL final.
Opposing Fans who knows nothing about our team or its makeup should really stop wasting their time and talking bull.

Who says I’m making an absolute judgement after 3 games? The OP is asking a question isn’t it? I personally think there’s something not right - but I’m not cast iron making out that spurs are bang in trouble. What I’m ASKING spurs fans (which I gather you aren’t?) is why do they look so poor.
Yes there were some problems last season but they finished in the top 4 and got to the final of the CL. How on earth do you do that if they were as bad you’re making out?
Look at the articles on the spurs board - loads of their fans are concerned. Why on earth do you have an issue with me asking questions over their performances ? Infact - just fack off
I was replying to your comment about them going backwards after spending £130m. Don’t get upset because I pointed out it was stupid to make that claim after three games when not all their signings have played.

We were all that for one season in 2016/17 and made nothing of it, had a shiater of a summer after that and didnt push on, since then it's been gradual regression
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is what I don’t understand. You’ve added quality to your squad for the first time in ages - spent about £130m. And you seem to have gone backwards
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Jesus, give them time to bed in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
New signings or not - spurs shouldn’t be this poor.

Ndombele not playing today. Lo Celso not ready as per Poch. Sessegnon injured .
You obviously don’t follow this football lark much
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah cos you’ve looked brilliant when Ndombele has been on the pitchI’ve probably got a better handle on your side than you have you cockney mug
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s three games in. You can’t say their signings have taken them backwards.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
3 games in and this tw*t is making judgement. You are just on a wum and no one really cares what the hell you think.
